It had been a week since everyone had come back and everything was going well at the pack house. The 7 couples all started going back to school again and they were surprisingly hanging out with one another rather than going into their cliques. Amethyst was all healed from her experience at the shifter’s house and was no longer afraid of people thanks to her wonderful mate Gabriel. Angeline had changed back to her normal sweet self after her and Lysander had mated, so she was no longer bitchy and moody. Those two couldn’t keep their hands off of one another. Victoria was becoming more confident and had made many more friends with Monroe by her side. He made her feel sexy and secure. Hazel’s internal injuries from her wolf were healed fully thanks to mating with Michaelangelo although her wolf is constantly calling for him because they are so in love. Juliette’s father has now fully accepted her mating with Nathaniel and he has vowed to forget that first bad impression. After all, you can’t live in the past. Seeing as Alpha Johnathan and his mate never had a son after Juliette, they are planning to have Nathaniel and Juliette be the next Alphas of the pack. Catherine and Alec were doing pretty well. Catherine was beginning to really like Drakeel and she was happy for her sister and thankful for her mate who handled Drakeel when he got too crazy. Evangeline and Drakeel were the only unmated people of their friends, but Drakeel planned to make her his tonight after they went out.

Evangeline intertwined their fingers as they walked out of the movie theatre. They had just seen Tyler Perry’s “Madea’s Witness Protection”. They had both laughed so hard they had nearly peed their pants. Tyler Perry’s movies were always so funny!

Drakeel smiled at her as she yawned.

“Don’t you dare get all sleepy on me now! We still have dinner to go to and maybe a little something later,” he said, not making it obvious of what that little something was later.

“Sorry, sorry,” she apologized. “But you’ve had me up and going since 8 o’clock this morning. What do you expect?”

“You know you love spending time with me,” he smiled at her and pecked her lips.

“Alright, I admit it. I do love spending time with you.”

He grinned. “See? Now come on, get up in the truck and we’ll go out for some food. I know that stomach of yours is craving some food.”

“Um, not really. We just ate a huge bucket of popcorn.”

“So? A little popcorn doesn’t affect us. We’re werewolves baby! We can eat an entire store out of stock in a day! I’m starved!”

“Of course you are,” she mumbled, rolling her eyes.

Sometimes she wondered how those male werewolves managed to eat that much and not gain any weight. It was insane! And it seemed like they were always hungry for something. Not that Drakeel had been hungry for that yet…Thinking about it had her pouting. She wondered why he hadn’t made a move yet. They’d been together for nearly a week and she had already admitted that she would let him mate her. What was holding him up?

“You alright over there Eva?” he asked.

“What? Oh yeah, I’m fine,” she said, snapping out of it.

“Good,” he said, turning back to the road.

They ended up dining at a seafood restaurant right by the water and when they were done, they travelled down the road to the ice cream parlor. Evangeline was sure they’d had enough calories to last a whole two days.

When they got home it was near 9:00. They said hello to their friends and went upstairs to Drakeel’s room to hang out for a bit before they went to sleep. They sat on his bed wrapped in each other’s arms watching the flat screened TV.
