"What! Oh! Losers! Yeah! Who's a winner? I'm a winner! Take that!- Ow!" Carter yelled. "What was that for?”

"You gloat too much, it's annoying." Chandler told him, putting her shoe back on.

"So? I'm not a fly. You didn't have to hit me with your shoe." Carter mumbled, rubbing the back of his head.

"I could've been wearing Danskos. Be glad I was wearing Toms today." She smirked, turning the Wii off.

I heard my phone go off and I walked over to the coffee table. I picked it up and unlocked it.

@NiallOfficial made a new friend today. hey @midnightsky go follow er. she's funy.

I clicked her name and was linked to a twitter with 200 followers. The icon was a picture of a blonde girl surrounded by yellow flowers. I zoomed in and realized it was Skyler from the math meet. Were they a couple now? I scrolled down to her one of her tweets.

I scrolled through her new tweets and my breathing constricted. Every time someone else got hated on, or bullied, I would feel like I was them, receiving all the hate.

Anger welled up inside of me and I replied back.

I refreshed her twitter and she had over 10,000 followers. I kept reading the tweets and they were all hate. A few were sweet tweets but the majority was how much of a bitch she was. Everyone was calling her ugly just because they were jealous.

It was about 2 minutes later when she tweeted back.

I stared at the tweet for a little while, not knowing what to say.

"What'cha reading?" Chandler asked, standing behind me. "Who is MidnightSky?”

"Go to Niall's twitter." I told her, tweeting her back.

She did as told and gasped. "What the heck? Who is this bi-"

"Chandler." I chided.

She huffed and looked back down at her phone. “Who is she though?”

"Her name is Skyler Barnes and she's really nice. She's not dating Niall but she's getting a lot of hate. She doesn't deserve it."

"You know her because?"

"She was on the team we played against for the math meet."

"Oh yeah, who won that thing?"

"Not us."

Chandler pursed her lips, "Anyway.. You think Skyler will date Niall anytime soon?"

I shook my head, "I doubt it."

"I don't know." Chandler sang, "She's pretty and Niall is sexy. So.."

I rolled my eyes, "I don't know. It's their life; they can live it however they want.

“Yes, but they are my babies and they’re growing up too fast. They aren’t allowed to date.”

“Sure.” I responded, sarcastically, “Although Liam’s dating Danielle, and Zayn’s dating Penny.”

“It’s Perrie.” She smirked.

“Whatever, it’s irrelevant.” Chandler squealed.

“What?”

“You said irrelevant.”

“My vocabulary is widespread. What’s so different about irrelevant?”

“Never mind. You’re a directionator. You wouldn’t understand.”

“Well.” I said sarcastically, following her into the kitchen.

“Where’s all your food? Every time I come here, your kitchen is always empty.”

“We eat it all because we know you’re coming over.”

“Ha-ha, very funny.”

My mom came bolting into the room.

“Hi mom. Why in such a rush?”

“Work called. There is a concert tonight and we have to do rehearsals.”

“Do you even know how to work the lights and stuff?” I questioned, pouring a glass of milk.

“I’ll figure it out. Love ya tuts.” She said, kissing me on the cheek.

“Wait- what band is playing?”

“Um, New Direction!” She called out.

“One Direction?” I hollered.

“That’s it!” She replied, closing the door. I turned to Chandler to see her grinning from ear to ear.

“What’s the look for?”

“One Direction is playing at your mom’s work.”
