I saw he was looking at the spider crawling on my skirt. I was going to pretend to scream so that I looked like regular girls even though I’m not scared of animals but something covered my mouth. I noticed it was his hand he took the spider off and placed it on a tree branch. I smiled and thanked him. He looked at me and then his eyes wondered behind me. I saw a shadow go over me. Adam said calmly and happily “Hey Jordan, long time no see.” I turned around to see this boy not wearing a uniform looking at me. Jordan told Adam “You took her HERE!” Adam nodded. Jordan got angry and was going to grab my arm to pull me up but I dodged it and kicked his foot so that he fell and I got up. I felt Adam’s eyes on me and I realized what I did wrong. He got up and asked me “How’d you do that?” I thought of a lie to come up with. I answered “I was trained by my father to protect myself from boys and girls.” He bought the story. “Okay if you say so but on the other hand here.” He looked at Jordan and said jokingly “You got your asked kicked by a girl.” Jordan got up and wiped his hands on his jeans and said angrily “Well if it wasn’t for you showing her this place I wouldn’t have tried to do that.” I smiled and they both seemed to notice and asked at the same time “What!?” I started laughing a little. Then I say “Boys are a boy, that’s all.” They looked at each other and said again at the same time “I am not a boy. I am a man!”  I laughed again and said “Yeah. Well do you guys wanna eat or are you gonna stay here arguing?” They looked at each other and were going to say no but I heard their stomachs growl. I laughed and they blushed. I said “Wait here. I’ll buy us lunch.” I was leaving when Adam said “Wait!” I turned around and looked at him confused. He said “The spider is on that tree branch.” He pointed to the one in front of me. I smiled “Its okay I have spiders at home.” I got the spider and I put it on the leaf. I kept walking and when I got in line I met a girl. “Hi my name is Destiny. What’s yours?” I smiled and replied “Mine’s Lily. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Destiny smiled “Can we be friends?” I replied “Sure.” We talked a lot and become best friends. Then I walked back to meet Jordan and Adam arguing about who can throw rocks further. I laughed and they heard and blushed again. I said like I owned the place “I brought the food.”
