Forbidden Love

I remember when we were happy,
And always together.
We said that it would
Be for forever.

Things have changed
And i still love you
And i know
You still love me too.

What they are doing,
Isn't right.
But for you,
I will fight.

My heart is broken,
But they dont care.
They like it better
When you arent there.

Why do my parents hate you?
And yours hate me?
We are in love
Cant they see?

I cant live without you
I cant live this way
Why, just why
Dont they all just go away?

When I found out they hate you,
All I did was scream.
When I found out they hate me,
I cried myself to sleep.

Why do people act this way? 
I think it's very cruel.
Just because they're older,
They think that they can rule.

It isnt right,
For them to keep us apart,
Because it just leads
To a broken heart.
