Chapter 7

My eyes opened slowly, the sun was beaming through my windows making me squint. I felt warm so the sun was probably on me. I looked ahead to see my alarm clock staring me in the face. I woke up ten minutes early? More time to get ready! I groaned as my body tried to refuse to move, It was like something was holding me back. Come to think of it, something actually was holding me back! I looked down slowly to see a pair of arms wrapped around me.

"Morning" A deep voice whispered in my ear. I jumped and looked up to see Gerard lay there with me smiling.

"H-Hi" I chuckled nervously, still watching him. I thought he said he wanted the sofa? Why the hell was he in my bed? "I need to get ready"

"You have ten minutes" He shrugged and held me closer. How did he know that? Oh I had a special alarm clock...and I write down my times. Call me weird, I don't care.

"Better to be early than late" I shrugged staring directly at his chest. Nom.

"You have a car. You'll be early" He smirked, trying to out smart me.

"Traffic" I smirked back and he pecked my lips making it fade away quickly. WHY IS HE ACTING LIKE THIS? It's too weird!

"You win" He chuckled and my alarm beeped making me jump. "Calm, it's only your alarm" He laughed at me. Yes, at me. I frowned and pulled away from his arms. I ran to my wardrobe and grabbed my uniform, I turned and stared at him, he was sitting up now.

"Stay here. I need a shower" I mumbled running into the bathroom and starting the water up. I placed my clothes on the rack and grabbed a towel putting it just outside the shower. I tested the water to see the temperature and it was just right. I went to take my top off but remembered the bathroom door was open. I wasn't risking anything. I turned around to see Gerard stand right there. Thank God I didn't undress.

"Hey" He smiled as if he wasn't interrupting.

"SHOO" The words escaped my mouth quickly. "I told you to stay"

"I'm not a dog" He sighed and held my face in his palms. "Close your eyes..."

"No" I frowned and he looked at me confused. "I don't understand you. Why are you being all lovey dovey now? I just... I don't understand"

"I thought you wanted this?" He raised an eyebrow leaning closer. "I thought you liked me? I like you" He smiled and his lips slightly touched mine before I leaned back.

"You can't" I shook my head confused.

"Why?" He frowned, "Because I'm a clone? Because I'm like this I can't love now? I can't do what everyone else does!?" He shouted making me flinch. "You don't want to help. You're not helping" He sighed. "I need to go" He shook his head and walked. What the hell just happened?

"What? Gerard I'm sorry!" I called but there was no reply. I ran, fuck the shower! Fuck my messy hair and ugly looking old clothes. He can't just leave! I want to help him! I really do! "Gerard!" I stood outside my house, looking around. There was no sign of him. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry" I covered my mouth and teared up. I was being stupid and stubborn!

"It's okay" A voice whispered from behind me, I turned and his lips crashed against mine. Well, here comes the wash of confusion. He pulled away and smiled, wiping away any escaped tears which was on my cheeks. "I forgive you...I know you care about me. You'll help" He smiled and I stared at him gobsmacked.

"But you said.."

"It was a test" He chuckled and I frowned at him. Why would he just test me? I'm letting him stay round my house! I'm letting him live here for free. I'm trying to help him and his testing me. Now he's making me feel a weird feeling for him. I wonder if the real Gerard's like this. Annoying, confusing and plain weird. "Go get ready for work, don't wanna be late" He chuckled pushing some hair behind my ear. I nodded confused and walked inside to my shower. He was making me feel love. It was a weird feeling, every time I saw him it got stronger. I can't be in love with a clone though, that's just stupid! Impossible! Or maybe it isn't!
