My Dark Mate [2021: Editing]

Author's Note- Please Read.

Hey everyone, so this is my first ever 'author's note' so please bear with it. So over the past few weeks, a lot of you have been commenting, voting, and most importantly reading my book and I thank you all so, so, so much. I love you all for everything you do for me through your support. I can't even properly express how much I appreciate you all.

But, I have noticed that some of you have been posting very negative comments about the characters- especially Chelsea, so I want to address that. Yes, I don't like a weak character either but please understand that this is the way she chooses to deal with the hand she's been dealt.

I haven't edited this yet and once I do, if I feel that she has been too whiny, I will change some things once the book is complete because I don't like weak female characters either. I haven't deleted any of these comments though, because after all, you have the right to post your opinion.

Guys, please remember, that Wattpad isn't meant to start wars and I see that some have been started in the comment section. So please, if you're not happy with the way I've developed my characters, please keep it to yourself from now on. I'm not trying to oppress your right to comment, but this book is my baby and obviously I'm not happy with anybody attacking my baby.

If you have something you're not happy with, I'm not stopping you from commenting, but to just plead for you to leave a constructive comment instead of one that you know can get your fellow readers riled up. I'm open to your suggestions, just please leave them nicely. I'm sorry that I had to post this author's note, but things are beginning to get out of hand.

And for you readers that have been defending the book, I thank you very much and I love that you enjoy my book enough to defend it. A very heartfelt thank you goes to you all from me. If you see any of these comments in the future, please inbox me instead of replying because that will break out in an argument and we don't want to litter the comment section with those, do we?

Please co-operate with me everyone. I have my opinions too when I read and you are all entitled to yours, that is the only reason I haven't deleted any comments thus far, regardless of whether or not they hurt my feelings.

But, please don't fight with fellow readers to get your opinions across because that's definitely not the way to do it. This is the final warning for anybody who posts comments that start arguments: I will delete your comment and if you keep leaving them, I will not hesitate to report you.

Also, I would like to point out that I do not appreciate people promoting stories in my comment section, and those comments I will delete immediately because lets be frank, that isn't polite. I hope you can all co-operate with these boundaries I've set, they aren't that many; just to not leave comments that you know will spark arguments and do NOT promote stories in my book.
