Well my username say it all. My name is Imran and I am an author so it’s Imran_theauthor

About Writing:

When did you start writing?

I started writing when I was 12 yrs old .

Why did you start writing?

It’s  simple-there was nothing else I was made to do. I was made to write stories and I love to write stories. I really can't imagine doing anything else and I can't imagine not doing what I do. Moreover when I am writing I feel like a creator. I feel safe in the world I create.

What is your favorite subject to write?

I have written almost all kind of genre and I love to write all kind of genre. I give equal amount of time and effort in anything I write.

What inspires you to write?

 I get my inspiration from everywhere. But what all of my inspiration comes down to seeing maybe one thing and then adding the question 'What if?'

What do you like the most about writing?

 As I said before I feel like a creator. The feeling is really powerful. I can create and destroy a world at the same time. I can kill a person and at the same make him alive and make him fall in love. I feel like a time time-machine. I can make people travel time with me; they can travel with me and see my world the way I created it. The feeling is magical.

Another reason why I hold writing so dear is that, in my stories justice can for all time be upheld, however subtle it may be. While in reality the truth does not always surface in time to affect events, in stories it always does. It warms my heart to discover that good prevails over evil even if that triumph is only fictional.

Do you plan on making a career out of writing?

 I have already published a book now I am writing a romantic novel. So I am looking

 forward to it . Well I am planning on making a side career .Basically I want to be a lawyer

About reading:

What was the first book you’ve read?

I finished reading and summarizing 394 books before I started writing. My first book was the three musketeers. The rich humor, passion, endless adventure, and honor of the story  .

What is your favorite type of book to read?

Well I like all kind of book which forces me to think a bit. One of my favorite book is The Art of War, Sun Tzu. From a personal standpoint, the most immediately applicable and useful book I’ve ever read. From a writing standpoint, critical in planning out the wars and diplomatic stratagems and Machiavellian characters that dodge, weave, and slink through my books. Reading Machiavelli himself was helpful, and books on military strategies and tactics are great in limited situations, but The Art of War is as applicable to one-on-one character interaction in a peaceful setting as it is to ten thousand guys coming over a hill to discover that the enemy has gone around them and is now behind them.
