Sammy opened her room door and peaked her head out at me. "Huh?"

"I said come here a minute, I have something to tell you."

She came out of her room and slowly eased down the hallway and into my room, where I closed the door behind her.  "This is Robyn and Tory..." I said as I pointed at them. "... You already know Vanessa, the one I used to go to school with?"

Sammy nodded her head. "Yeah, I remember Vanessa..." She waved. "... Hi, Robyn and Tory, I'm Sammy."

They both smiled at her. "Hello." Robyn said pleasantly.

I went over and sat on my bed. "Have a seat Sammy."

She looked around the room curiously. "Um... Okay." She walked over and sat next to me.

"The reason I called you in here is because I have to tell you something..."

"Lela, you really don't have to do this infront of us, if you don't want to." Robyn called softly.

"Sssshhhh, this is gettin' good." Tory said as she waved a hand at me, as if to say 'please continue'.

I grinned and rolled my eyes at her before looking back to Sammy. "Well Sammy, I called you in here to tell you that..."

Suddenly Jared walked in the room, totally caught of guard by all of the different faces looking back at him. "I'm... Sorry, am I... Interrupting... Something?"

"No honey, no, no... Come in." I smiled at him as he entered the room. "I'm actually glad you're here, because I was just about to tell Sammy about the thing."

He lifted an eyebrow as he closed the room door behind him. "The... Thing?"

"Yeah, you know... The THING." I said as I winked an eye at him.

He chuckled, letting me know that he now understood what I was trying to say. "Oh but, SWEETY... Let's NOT."

I lifted an eyebrow, totally confused by him. He was one of the ones that WANTED me to tell her in the first place, so the fact the he DIDN'T want me to tell her now sort of confused me.

"In fact..." He Continued. "... Can I speak with you out in the hallway?" He turned and opened the room door.

I looked around at the other girls with my eyebrows pushed together in a confused way, before standing from the bed and joining him out in the hallway.

He closed the door behind us, putting us in the pitch black. Moments later, he snapped his finger as light blue lights began to slowly move around the walls of the hallway, as if we were standing by some well lit swimming pool.

"What are you doing?" He spoke in a whisper.

"I already told you, I'm telling her the secret."

"But why?... Don't forget that I'm an empath Lela, I can feel everything, and right NOW I'm feeling that YOU feel like now isn't the right time to tell her, and that you're only telling her because you feel pressured to."

Silence lingered between us as I looked at the waves of the invisible water on the wall.

He continued. "Baby, don't do it because you feel pressured to, don't do it for everyone else, do it for yourself... Now don't get me wrong, because I DO want you to tell her, but I want you to tell her when YOU'RE ready to tell her... ALWAYS go with your FIRST instinct because it's the only one that'll tell you the truth."

I smiled as I looked at him. "Aw, you're such a good boyfriend."

He smiled. "You're such a dork." He joked.

I eased into his arms as he put them around me.

He kissed my forehead. "You're an even better girlfriend... You're just a little hard headed, that's all." He joked as we both laughed and walked back into the room. Once we opened the room door, the waves of invisible water disappeared as if someone turned a light switch off or something.
