A/N: I wanted to say yes this is about John Cena but it is NOT a fanfic I don't believe it should be categorized as one, because its not about his job its about his life. I have no intentions of even really mentioning his work too much and you don't need to know anything about wrestling to understand the story. So please give it a chance even if you don't know who he is. PLEASE! <3

On the way to a business meeting with his boss, Vince McMahon, John Cena sped through Hell’s Kitchen, New York while on the phone with his soon to be ex-wife. “I want the house, everything inside, half the cars and half the money.” Liz states back at their house in Massachusetts,

“Liz, what part of prenup don’t you fucking get? The law states you get jack shit so stop asking for so much before I become an ass and take everything.” John says through clenched teeth trying to hold back his anger,

“The prenup also stated you couldn’t fuck other girls!” She yells, Johns insides ignite with anger

“I never cheated on you!” He yells back gripping the steering wheel tighter. “I fucking loved you since high school, why would I cheat?” He screams and then takes in a deep breath of air to blow out slowly.

“You loved me, bull fucking shit John! Do you show your love by never coming home? Working all the time? And refusing –not just suggesting not –to have kids?” He could just sense her twisted smile, “I was there when you had nothing and we lived in your tiny ass car, if it wasn’t for my support you would have given up on your dream and had none of this so I deserve half of everything that I helped create.” She states, placing her hand on her hip.

“Liz…” he sighs wanting this whole thing to end, “I would have died for you, I asked if I was working too much, I tried to work it out, you are the one giving up on us… not me. I love you to this day and would do anything for you to call this off…I’m sorry about the kids thing but obviously I did the right thing. Just imagine how bad this would be if we had children in the middle of it… please just forgive me for neglecting you and let me show you that I love you.” He chokes out holding back tears in his throat,

“It’s too late for that, John.” She says cold heartedly, “I’m taking everything, call my lawyer from now on, I don’t ever want to hear your voice again.” She says before hanging up on him, he pulls up in front of a huge skyscraper. Taking the time to collect himself so he doesn’t go in looking like he just got done crying, before going into the building to meet Vince.

“John, thanks for coming in on your day off.” Vince says, shaking John’s hand then taking a seat behind his desk again. “Have a seat this may take a moment,” he adds gesturing toward the chair across his desk.

“It’s no problem, with the divorce I never get a day off; Liz is really trying to take everything.” John sighs shaking his head, Vince looks at him with understanding.

“I know you said no, but I’m going to offer it again. We have great lawyers that could really help and make sure the prenuptial agreement sticks, and of course we will pay for everything.” Vince gives a reassuring smile.

“Thanks, Vince but that is just too much my lawyer will manage.” He says waving off the idea,

“It’s the least we could do for everything you do for us, but alright; offer is always on the table.”
