Luke and Calum are going to be sixteen in this but look like they do in the Try Hard video okay okay

》Luke

The cold September wind whipped my hair around, my fringe becoming tangled. I groaned.

"It was fucking perfect this morning fuck fuck fuck." I cursed, trying to comb it out with my fingers.

Calum shrugged beside me. "Nobody pays attention anyway, mate."

I shot him a look. "Don't be rude."

"I'm just being honest. We're the bottom of the food chain," He turned and walked backwards ahead of me and continued, "The nerds. Dude, we eat my the garbage cans. We're like freshmen, but we're juniors. It isn't fair, and it's lame, but nobody pays attention to our hair."

I sighed and nodded, knowing he was right. My fingers left my hair and went back to my sides.

Calum returned to my side and put a hand on my shoulder. "Sorry to disappoint ya."

"No, you're right. I just want this year to be different, to be exciting, but instead I'm walking to school with my only friend, only to be not noitced by anyone. It's tedious and shit and I just want it different."

"Someone's noticing you right now." He whispers.

I scoff and throw my hands up. "Calum! Don't lie just because I'm upset!"

"I'm really not lying." He said under his breath, his mouth barely moving. His head motioned slightly to the right and I looked, only to see he was right. A boy with bright green hair and pale skin was sitting on a bus bench, his eyes directly in mine. He wore black skinny jeans and had a Sex Pistols shirt on, a black bag directly to his left. I shivered under his gaze and looked away.

"Holyfuckingshit." I said.

Calum nodded and giggled. "He's hot, bro, go get some ass."

"I'm sixteen, Calum. And for all I know that guy could be a murderer or something." I laughed.

I let out a breath of relief as Robotics Club finally ended, running late for the second time this week. I checked the time on my watch, seeing it was 10:36 at night. The moon was full and white, illuminating everything around me. I pulled my coat closer to my chest, my breath fogging out around me.

It was eerily quiet for London. Maybe because it's a Tuesday night and no normal person would stay after school to finish an attempt at a robot. Good thing I'm not normal.

The dull clap clap clap of my Converse against the sidewalk, the rustling of the trees in the bitter wind and the deafening silence otherwise was what drove me to put my ear buds in. I unlocked my iPod and St. Jimmy by Green Day started to play. I figure as long as I don't hear the creepy sounds, they aren't there, right?

Wrong.

I took a seat on the navy bus bench, waiting for the 11:00 o'clock bus. They have those. Don't they? I really don't want to walk twenty blocks.

I felt a tap on my shoulder, the touch seeming to come through my coat, straight to my bones. I shuddered and turned around.

The guy with the green hair from earlier stood above me.
