Bitterness forming deep inside
Quickened temper and steepened despise
With this dark and ice cold aura I have no place, I am not safe, I cannot hide
I must forgive, I must repent
This convicted criminal cannot deny
My mind is bent, I am losing, I can’t feel a thing
I cannot run, I must not die
My only hope is to cry
Cry out and beg for mercy
Beg for peace, and beg for life
What has been broke and can no longer be fixed, can be made new by Holy hands
What has been torn can be mended
The war, the lies, and all the deceit can be destroyed and the truth be made known again
The tangled heartstrings can be untied
The broken ones can be restrung
All is well, for this heart of stone is melting
