Chapter 5 - There are Reasons Behind Pain

There are reasons why people do those things they did to us, there are pain behind those words they told us, there are regrets behind those goodbyes

But what really matters most are those hello after the goodbyes, those hope after the pain, and those dried tears after the rain

Some people told me that if your not meant to be together then maybe his meant to be your lesson. A lesson that will teach you sacrifices, love, vices, never ending tears, mercy, happiness and treasuring memories

I looked at the mirror in front of me and I see a reflection of the girl that I didn't notice before. A strong and independent woman as they may say but I know in myself that the woman I see in the mirror is still and I think forever will be, broken 

Those love that we beg are not the love that we want but the love we know we need. The love that will make us whole again. The love that we know will forever be in our soul

We ask God to find us the right person, but we put the blame to Him if the person that he gave us isn't the person we're expecting

But how do we know if the right person is already in front of us if we haven't experienced being with the wrong one?

Maybe being with the wrong one is just a chapter that will make our life's story more interesting. A chapter where we will experience the different twist and turn that we haven't even imagine experiencing

"Lucy"

He said as he knock on my office door. I let him enter and offer a sit in front of my desk. I was just looking at him the whole time while waiting for him to speak. I know this man. He's the guy I saw in the show. The guy I was trying so hard to remember

"Nice to see you again, wifey"

Wifey? That sound so horrible. I didn't even know this guy for him to call me an endear- oh wait. I think I'm getting something under my brain

"You don't seem to remember" He said as he looked down on the floor

A sudden memories came flashing right through my mind. I panicked as I saw him bow down his head like a child receiving dirty nasty words from his parents

I stood up from my swivel chair and went in front of him. I kneeled down to meet his gaze and he seemed shocked to what i did

"Christian, hubby" I called him

His beautiful chinky eyes seems to widen a little and a smile formed into his lips

"You remembered!" He exclaimed as he hurriedly hug me

Christian Lee. The guy I liked when I was in highschool. The guy I thought I will be with forever. But forever seems so vague during those time cause after we graduated highschool, his family transferred to the states and since then I never heard anything from him anymore and that ended our puppy love kind of relationship
