I Gotta Find You(a Liam Payne fanfic)

“But why not?!?!”

Surprisingly, it’s not Liam, but me who whines about it.  Everyone laughs at my little whiney voice. 

“Hey guys, I’m curious….if you could have one superpower…what would it be?” asks Becca

“Mine would definitely be to be invisible” Says Liam

“You already are!” says Zayn

Liam rolls his eyes and I look at him. 

“You’re not invisible to me baby.” And I kiss him on the cheek

He puts his arm around me and kisses me on the head. 

“Louis?”

“I’d just…..I just wanna fly.”

He lifts his fist into the air and we all start laughing. 

“Okay…what about you Zayn?”

“Um….I don’t know actually.”

“Time travel…it has to be!” shouts Harry

“Oh no no not time travel….um I guess my superpower would have to be….to be young forever.”

We all nod our heads.  “Peter Pan!” Harry shouts

We all laugh. 

“I want to live forever,

I want to learn how to fly”

“HIGH”

Niall and Zayn sing that little snippet from the song. 

“Ok that’s what I want to watch!  Peter Pan!” says Liam

“I have another question,” says Becca, “If you could be one of your band mates for the day who would you be?  Louis?” she asks

“I’d like to be….HARRY!  Cause I’d like to have curly hair!”

We all laugh. 

“But just yesterday you wanted him to stop having curly hair!” I say

Everyone laughs as they remember Louis chasing Harry with the scissors. 

“Okay…um…Liam?”

“I’d like to be Niall for the day because he finds everything absolutely amazing.”

“Yes, yes I do.” Niall says

“Okay then…Zayn?”

“I’d like to be Louis for the day…”

“Yeah me too…”Niall says

“Just because he’s absolutely hilarious.” Zayn says

“Yes!” Louis says in a funny and girly voice

“Alright and Harry?”

“I’d like to be Zayn for the day because he’s very clever, he’s very intellectual, and um…he’s a funny guy.”

“Aww nobody wants to be Liam?” I ask

“No they don’t.” Louis says

We all start laughing.  “Okay I have a question,” I say, “What’s your favorite chat up line?  Zayn?”

“Vas happening!”

He all laugh.  “Niall?”

“I don’t have one.”

“Well that’s an amazing chat up line.” Says Liam, “But I don’t have one either so I guess we have the same one.”

We all start laughing.  “Okay Louis?”

He pauses and then says: “Will you marry me?”

“Simple, but effective.” Says Harry

We all laugh.  I love these boys so much.  I don’t know what I would ever do if Louis and I had never met.  Becca kicks me from the beanbag chair her and Harry are sharing behind me. 

“Hey!  Go put in Peter Pan!” she says

“What do I look like to you?  A maid?”

She smirks. “Maybe.”

I roll my eyes.  “ZAYN!!!”

“What?!”

“Go put in the movie please!”

He groans, but gets up and puts in Peter Pan. 

About halfway through the movie I run out of soda.  I put my food down on the floor for a moment and grab my phone off the table.  I send a text to Louis. 

Hey Lou!  Go grab me another coke from the kitchen

Why should I?

Because I’m out and I love you
