Chapter Three.

[Jace's Pov]                                                                                                                       

I haven't spoken with Liam since yesterday's event.. Emily wont stop bragging about it and if my mom finds out, I'm going to regret living. She already thinks I'm gay, since I have never had a girlfriend; cant blame a guy for waiting for the right one. Wow, I sound so pathetic. But ugh.. Never mind. Where's Em.. I need to talk to her about keeping her mouth shut.   

As I enter the halls of the school, I make sure that the coast is clear of them.. And by them, I mean Rick and his minions. I swear, ever since I entered high school, he has hated my guts. I never knew why, but right now I just want to be away from him. He once beat me up so badly, I was in a hospital bed for a month. But stupid me, never told my mom who did it. I shook my head, trying to forget about it and start walking to my locker. Em, where are yo- , uh oh.   

"I'm sorry, I zoned out," I say as I look up to who I had bumped into. Oh crap!  

"Well, well. look who it is. Little Jacey boy. You think you're tough kid?", He ask me, as he grabs me by my shoulders, squeezing me hard,  making me flinch against the lockers.   

"Uh, no Rick, I just z-zoned out, I didn't meant to bump into you.", I say, trying to get out of his touch, but it only made it harder.  

"Oh, and where do you think you're going now?"  He says as he pushes me up against the lockers once again, making me close my eyes. Before I can answer, I feel the blow in my stomach. He punches me again, but this time in the jaw, making me drop to the floor. Fuck my life.   

"Aw, is little Jacey hurt, come on, bitch. Get up. Now!" He says and kicks me in the stomach, living me breathless, "I said now- "  

"Leave him alone. Now", I don't even recognize the voice, but I'm glad it came.   

"Who the fuck are y-". Before I know I feel a body fall next to me. I open my eyes and see Rick on the floor, holding his nose and.. is he bleeding? I look up and see a Smirking Boy. Liam.  

"I said now." He mocks Rick, making him glare at me, before running away,

"Hey, you okay? Here, let me help you up."

He helps me stand up , but I flinch and lose my balance a little, almost falling,  but he grabs me before I did.  

"Jay, you need to go to the nurse, come on, slowly," He directs me into his arms, and before I know it, I'm on his back, my legs softly wrap on his chest and my head comfortably on his neck. We reach the infirmary, and he leaves me on the bed, explaining what had happened to the nurse.   

"Oh god.. and who did this?" She asks, taking a notebook and doing a report, I think.. If I speak, and say who did it, he'll get so mad and will hurt me even more if he sees me alone.. crap..  

"Jay! The nurse asked who did this to you. Whats the kid name?"    

"I.. I can't tell... He'll hurt me again or worse if I tell.. ,"  

"Please Jay, he wont touch you. I can take care of him. Now, tell the nurse his name. Please?"  

"You promise? Because.. its not the first time."  

"Wait, what do you mean? And yeah, sure. I promise." He says kindly, making it hard for me to believe.  

"His name is Rick, um.. Rick Castle. I think.. I don't know." I say, earning a look from the nurse.  

"Oh god, Rick.. You're not the first student who comes here troubled by him.. I'll report him to the principal so he c-"

"NO!! Please, I don't need more trouble from him, please?"  

"But i need to rep-"  

"No , please? I seriously don't need more trouble from him, Please?" I seriously don't want any problems with that kid. Ever. Again.  

"Ugh, fine. BUT, if he hurts you or anything, you will report it to me, understand?", I nod at the command from the nurse. After she finishes with me, she tells me not to skip lunch and to be more careful. I get out and start walking to my next class, which I believe is Grammar or Art. I stop walking when I feel two strong arms on my shoulders, making me flinch again. I turn around to see.. Liam?    

"Liam?"  

"Um, yeah. You forgot your backpack in there. Here." He hands me the backpack and scratches the back of his neck. Boy, talk about awkward.   

"Um, thanks.. " He nods and I just stand there, looking to the floor, "Jay, about what happened yesterday, I- ,"  

"Don't worry I totally forgot about it, I will drop it." I spat quickly before he can even finish. He opens his mouth to say something but closes it and shakes his head instead.   

"Um, yeah  sure. I have to go, don't forget I'm coming over today, meet me at my car." And he walks away annoyed. What.. just happened?   

I make my way into my class, which is art, and sit next to Emily. I don't even look at her, knowing she will bring it up, and I don't want to discuss it.  

"Jace, you can't avoid me forever; you know that."  

"Yeah, I know but I can try,"  

"Moody Much?" I roll my eyes. I'm not moody.. Much.   

"No, I just don't want to discuss that. Not with you anyways,"  

"But, Jace, I walked in on a very hot moment! You almost kissed Liam Kellan! Like, the hottest new kid in school! Please, tell me you were froze there and couldn't move." She roll her eyes , but she doesn't know that, that is exactly what happened. jeeez.   

"Em, that's exactly what happened, nothing else. He leaned in to kiss me. Not the other way around."  

"But, what if I didn't walk in, and the kiss would've happened, what would you do about it?", I didn't think of that.. Thanks a lot for bringing it up!  

"You're welcome, baby!" She says and giggles. I said that aloud?  

"Yep, and you just did it again. See? He's getting into your head, and you can't stop thinking about him. See? You like him! And don't deny it! This is way better than twilight. You are Bella, and he's is Jacob.. I wonder who is Edward", she keeps bragging about it, but I decide to focus on the teacher and ignore my evil best friend.

So.. When i wrote this, i decided to stop here, because... i had no clue where it was leading. Maybe i'll add another hang over in Jace's House, this time with Emily? yeah ? Oh, and be ready, because drama is gonna start sooon! ;D

HOLY SHIT GUYS. the bully is called Rick Castle. RICK CASTLE, LIKE FROM THE SERIE CASTLE. I didn't make that on purpose omg. hahabyeahh..
