"It's later," Zayn mumbled against my lips. We were stood in front of my flat, lips attached, fingers connected. You see, Zayn was feeling a bit needy tonight, but I wasn't exactly complaining. It seemed like ever since we left Louis' party (which wasn't even that long ago) he seemed a little eager. Like something was on his mind and the only thing he could do was touch me. Again, I wasn't going to complain.

I fumbled with my keys while trying not to detach myself from his mouth. I thought about pulling away for a split second to unlock the door but I couldn't bring myself to do just that. Apparently Zayn's kisses were more important than being inside. It was debatable, really.

His hands had a tight grip on my waist, my arms locked around his shoulders. I felt this fluttering sensation in the pit of my stomach -- these butterflies were out of control. And it was like I'd completely forgotten that Zayn had spoken not even two minutes ago when he pulled away to rest his forehead against mine. I thought about trying to find my way back to his lips again but I decided against it.

"Jan," he muttered quietly underneath his breath. His eyes were slightly closed, but there was a small smile spreading across his face.

"Mhm," I hummed. I felt so content with life right now. So mellow, so relaxed. I guess I could thank Zayn for that.

He tilted his head up a bit so his lips could reach the tip of my nose, causing me to break out into this idiotic grin because I just loved nose kisses and I loved that they came from Zayn. "I really need to ask you something," he rubbed his nose against mine. "S'important. Really," he pecked my cheek, making it change colors. "Important."

"Okay," I nodded, letting my arms slide from around his neck. I jiggled my keys in my hand and said, "maybe I should unlock the door now. I don't think important conversations should be held outside of flats."

"Right," he chuckled, removing himself from me so I could let us inside. I don't know why -- it was just a random thought of the moment -- but I briefly considered giving Zayn his own key to my house but -- no, wait. That was weird and much too soon.

Snap out of it, Jan.

Maybe I had drank those beers after all...

I finally pulled the door open -- it felt like we were standing outside for days (it was actually more like ten minutes, according to the time on my phone) -- and we both made our way inside. It was a bit dark so I flipped on a light switch on the way in. I looked behind me to see if Zayn was still here (sometimes it felt like he wasn't real at all, just a figment of my imagination.)

"So what is so important that you need to tell me?" I chuckled, making my way into the kitchen. Who knew that kissing could make you so thirsty? (All jokes aside.) "D'you want a drink?" I asked. He mumbled out a small 'yeah', following right behind me.

"Um," he let out a breath of air as I handed him a glass of water. He looked a little nervous, his teeth scraped across his bottom lip, and I could've sworn his hands were shaking or maybe I was just seeing things.

"We should sit," he suggested. "We should definitely sit. S'a bit of a sitting subject." He shrugged and I laughed because he was kinda cute like this.

"Alright," I chuckled, gesturing out before me. "Lead the way, mister."

We both set our drinks on the table the moment we sat down. This sofa of mine held some pretty magnificent memories if you ask me. I might've shared my first kiss with Zayn here, but who was asking?

Speaking of kisses, I wasn't even given a warning at all when Zayn's hands slid onto my cheeks, his fingers running through my hair, and his lips were on mine again. I was stunned to say in the least bit, but I soon melted into him because it was Zayn and it was easy to lose yourself in him.
