Fight for Eternity: The Adventures of Miles

My name is Miles Onikawa, the 3rd born son to Locke and Alicia Onikawa. I am the baby of the Legendary Triplets; my older brothers are Luigi Onikawa, the current Guardian of the Floating Island and representative of the Brotherhood and Blue "Banjo" Onikawa, the greatest hero our clan has ever known, but never call him Blue! It's been 3 days after Akihito Akitoki was defeated again; everyone has been slowly recovering from their wounds including myself. Fighting his brother Amatatsu was extremely draining and I suffered some pretty bad injuries. Despite that though, I helped everyone go throughout all Onikawa-controlled areas and guide the recovery efforts. On this day, I was in the capitol city, New Mobotopolis, with my brothers Banjo and Luigi; Banjo was heavily bandaged up for he was at the epicenter of the action but his hands were really wrapped up after using the Final Chaos Blaster with his girlfriend Dixie, and Luigi had been turned back into a child after becoming a god, dying, and reviving. We were talking about something and then, all the crazy stuff happened....

"You know Miles, I wasn't expecting you to beat Akitoki's brother. I thought he was completely invincible because he was undead", Banjo said in a mocking tone. No one expected me to be able to beat him but I did it with the help of Yamanako.

"Well at least you still have your regular bodies. Standing next to you Miles, I feel like the baby brother! This feels horrible!", Luigi whined as he kicked a rock. Losing his teenage body and his powers really hit him hard as he hadn't been his usual, confident self.

"Well Luigi I'm really sorry you lost your body and your powers. I'm currently researching a way to restore both to you, and big brother you should have more faith in me! I know I might be the baby and not as strong as the both of you, but I'm strong in my own right!", I shot back; I didn't like being treated as weak by anyone.

"Sorry, sorry! Just calm down baby brother, you know I love you. Why do you think I have you always around me instead of the midget next to you?"

"I heard that you blue fur rug! You better be lucky I can't zap you with lightning anymore or else...!"

"Or else what Luigi? You are no longer in a position of power and I am going to take full advantage of this! I'm rubbing this one in that old man's face the next time he picks a fight with me!"

"Guys, calm down... please...?", I said, making my famous face that looks like I'm gonna cry. That always makes them stop fighting and sure enough, it worked yet again. Banjo and Luigi walked off to survey more houses; I decided to sit down on a bench and rest for a bit. We had been at it ever since 8 in the morning and I had only gotten about 3 hours of sleep; yeah I'm a growing boy and I need as much sleep as I can get! I'm not like my brothers; they can stay up for hours on end just training. I cursed myself for staying up late doing experiments and working on a new weapon for Dixie to use. As I sat there, I looked up at the sky and stared at the clouds; it was an overcast day and it looked like it could rain at any time. As i began to lose myself in the sky, my wrist watch began to ring; someone from the mansion was trying to contact me.

"Miles here, what's going on? What do you need us to do?"

"It's Akira Miles, there is a situation brewing in the neutral zone between the Honsho and Gouki Regions. Some unknown terrorist regime is causing havoc on the people of the Eternitra Region and they need help. Father is send you, Banjo, and Luigi. We cannot get ahold of Dixie because she turned her communicator off for some reason and my brother Akiro is locked up in his lab researching medicine.", Akira said in that beautiful voice of hers.

"What about Yamanako? Isn't he on duty too? Why hasn't he contacted you back?"

"Yamanako is down at the epicenter of the battle between Akitoki and the Onikawa-Shiryu Alliance surveying the damage and getting estimates on the repairs. The only ones who can are the three of you. Can you do it?"

I looked all over for my brothers but they were nowhere to be found. I had to act quickly; things sounded terrible down at the Eternitra Region and they needed help in a bad way. I thought it over for a few minutes and I chose the only course of action I could:

"Banjo and Luigi are doing more important things right now and I can't reach them. I'm on my way to the mansion to gather supplies for the mission, estimated time of arrival is 13 minutes. Miles out."
