the clock is ticking

The clock was ticking,

it has happened, our biggest fear

they stole our country, they killed our dreams,

they demolished villages, like the town of Der Yasin

killed its people, with no heart,

dear world, where have you been?

they commited massacres to children with no fears,

the women shout, and they scream

the men struggle to hold back their tears,

they seek for a safer place to hide,

they were shattered  around the world just so they'd survive,

and the world has taken the zionists side,

some went to Jordan, other to Syria

as they thought they'd leave for a week or so

the boy left his kite, his most favourite kite,

his mother left her jewlery box, his father left his most valuable tux,

they replaced their son with a pillow, all because of a factor called fear

knowing that they'll return to their home, they'll return to their place,

they were told to leave for a few days,

that's a memory time will never erase,

they never came back, that's for a fact,

and the world's words and opinions are being held back,

and the clock is still ticking,

the kite was never returned, nor were the jewelry,

they never got the chance to see their son, all because of the zionist's burglary

but we'll never forget our right of the return,

and the clock is still ticking,

its' been 64 years, and the clock is still ticking,

it's still ticking
