A new letter waited for me inside my locker. And today, just like ever other day, I stared at it for a whole minute before I sighed and opened it. Today, this is what is says,

M,

The weather's really great today. You think that too right? I know you like it when the sun is shining bright and not hiding behind the clouds. And you like it better when the cool wind dances around you. And you know what? I also happen to know that you feel like skipping class and wander around at times like this. And guess what, I'll do the skipping of class for you. Today I feel like enjoying the outside world. And I really wish I could invite you with me. Want to skip class with me? Maybe the next time we can.

~J

Surprisingly, I smiled. How did he know? He was right. I absolutely love the weather today. And I do want to skip class. Somehow, who ever this J is, I kinda envy him. And for the first time since these anonymous letters came, I actually folded this one neatly and placed it inside my bag. I just usually stuff them inside after reading them that they'd be all crumpled. In one way or another, I'm actually getting accustomed to J's letters that they don't irritate me like the first one appeared in my locker.

"Hey, girlie!" Abby appeared behind me. Jenna Stuarts was standing beside her and smiling at me.

"Hey." I replied.

"So, Jenna wants so invite you tonight."

I looked at Jenna who was still smiling at me. Jenna is one of Abby's popular friends. And she's one of those popular people that I sincerely like due to the fact that she is really nice.

"I'll be having a party tonight. Actually, more like my friends are throwing a party at my house since my parents will be gone. I'm hoping you could come." I stared at her for a few seconds assessing if she really was sincere in asking me that she's only inviting me for Abby's sake. And the way she looks at me gave me the feeling that she really is hoping I would come.

"Come on, Meggy! Please say you'll come. I really want to go. And besides, Jenna said that I could also invite Blake. Let's go, pretty, please???" Abby urged me.

I sighed and nodded. "Alright. We'll go. Thanks for inviting me."
