Jessica was a normal popular girl at Holy Cross high school. She threw awesome parties and everyone knew her. Ever since she was a little girl she was adored by everyone around her. Jessica was not your average blonde, short, and beautiful girl. People never failed to tell her she was unique and adored by all.
One day she was scrolling through Facebook, mindlessly trolling through the newsfeed to see if anything was new with her friends. After about ten minutes she started chatting with her friend Heather about their day at school.
They went on for about an hour talking back and forth. She loved talking to Heather, she was distinctive and irreplaceable. Like Jessica, she was one of the popular girls and everyone knew her.
All of a sudden a DING noise popped up, she had a friend request. Curious, she clicked on the person’s profile his name was Evan Berrick. She tried to think to herself who was this Evan kid that added her?
She could not remember him from anywhere but since she had a lot of friends on Facebook already, what was one more? Maybe he remembered her from somewhere. She clicked accept, thinking nothing of it. All of a sudden the ding message came up again. She looked in the right hand corner and noticed she had a new chat box open. It was from Evan.
Hello, thank you for the add. I'll be seeing you soon!
That was strange, Jessica thought to herself. Eventually it went out of her mind and she kept chatting with Heather. An hour later she said goodbye and went to bed.
When Jessica got up the next morning, she immediately went to check her computer. She had two new messages, one from Heather and one from the mysterious Evan.
Can't wait to see you tonight, will be with you shortly…
Jessica got really freaked out; she didn't know why he was saying this, so she went to his profile again and checked it out further. He had a normal profile picture; he looked like a normal teenage boy. She took it as a joke and laughed. Grabbing her bag she shut the computer off and walked out the door to school.
It was a normal day for Jessica, talking to Heather about plans for the weekend and what was new with one another. At the end of the day, Jessica promised she was going to text her that night.
It was 8:00 and Jessica had nothing to do. DING. She looked at her computer, noticing it was Evan sending her a message again.
See you in 30 minutes. We’re going to have an amazing night...
Jessica started hyperventilating yet again, her brain shooting her warning signs. She blocked Evan, feeling relieved. She figured her couldn’t bother her ever again if he was no longer on her Facebook. Thirty minutes went by and nothing happened. She texted Heather, asking what the plans were for the next day. All of a sudden she got a message from Heather saying:
Blocking me, will do nothing you little bitch. You’re dead, just like your friend…
Screaming, she threw her phone down on the bed. She waited for several painful seconds for her mom or dad to come busting through the door. Then quickly remembered they had dance class that night. She started hyperventilating and all went black.
Sometime later, she woke up, disoriented. A new Facebook message from Heather stared her in the face.
Look behind you.
Terrified, she dared a glance behind herself. An axe, sharp and gleaming, swung with an agonizingly slow intensity, until making contact with her head, taking it clean off.
This just in, the escaped killer Reid Vasallo has claimed two more victims. Young Jessica Gray and Heather Eaton were found dead in their home late this morning by the devastated parents. The infamous Severed Head-Hunter has taken both of their heads and has disappeared into the night.
