"I want a divorce. We are in a loveless marrige. Think of the children goddamnit."
He looked into her dead eyes, remembering the once bright passion they held. Alas her stare had long been cold, downtrodden by years of passive agressive behaviour from her husband. It's a wonder they held on this long, trying with all their power to make it work, for the sake of the children, at least. But even those sweet kids werent enough to stop the ticking bomb.
Till eventually it went boom.
"I'm sorry Abbi, I must go."
He grabbed his coat and quickly headed out the door, lighting up a cigarette on the way out.
'One more nail in the coffin,' he thought.
He didn't have anything going for him anyway, just that bitter taste in his mouth. He remembered when they were full of passion, how amazing their wedding night had been. Now he wanted nothing more than to wring her neck. He hated the way she made him feel, his heart bleeding with every vicious word she spat.
'Will it rain forever?'
