Author's note: This is actually the very first story I had ever written and as such is  not very good, but in a funny way. It's kind of one of those badly written stories that are fun to laugh at. So feel free to laugh at it even though it isn't really a comedy. One more thing that I would like to add. Seeing as how even I'm not sure how I feel about it, don't judge the rest of the things I write based on this. Enjoy...

Chapter 1

Emerging from the mist one dark, and cold night were five soldiers all dressed in black stealth suits. John, Mike, Sara, Kevin, and Albert.

John a rather good looking man with no family has brown hair, brown eyes, 6’0, just recently turned 22 and very lean.

Mike is the commander of the group and demolitions expert has blond hair, blue eyes, 6’1, very buffed, 31 years old, and a very fast runner and recently divorced.

Sara the girl in the group and a skilled sniper. She has red hair, blue eyes, single, 22 years old, 5’11, and lean.

Kevin is the engineer in the group and the jester of the group. He has brown hair, green eyes, 27 years old, 6’0, and married with two daughters.

Lastly Albert the medic in the group, an albino with white hair, and red eyes, 6’1, 29 years old, and not married.

They had been storming through the rain and mud for at least two hours since drop. John suddenly heard “Hit the deck.” crackle over the com link. All five of them dropped to the ground almost simultaneously. Then as soon as they dove to the ground a massive ship with orange paint, twin thrusters on the back, and a curved front flew over them.

On board the ship soaring only about seven feet above the soldiers below the ship.

The ships commander Surge is not even a man, he is just electricity in a mans body with two swords on his back, “anything?” Surge asked “no nothing on the radar sir.” one of the droids said, but Surge had a feeling the radar was wrong.

After the ship had passed John said, “Thanks for that warning Sara.”

“No problem” Sara replied, “Wow guys these radar jammers really work” Mike said, “Yea either that or they are blind.” Kevin said, “Yes well I think it was the radar jammers anyway we should probably get farther before any more ships get to close.” John said.

(About an hour later) “Hey guys stop.” Kevin yelled, “What’s wrong?” Sara asked, “My radar is picking up movement on the other side of that hill over there.” Kevin said, and then pointed to a cliff “Alright Kevin go check it out.” Mike said, “Sir Yes sir.” Kevin replied.

 Kevin then went to the cliff with his binoculars “Maybe it’s a fleet” Albert said. “I don’t know about a fleet but I think it’s a bunker John thought to himself.” When Kevin came back he told them about the bunker “Alright everyone Sara you and me will go up on the cliff everyone else go to that ditch, and do not engage.” Mike said.

As John waited he could see only a few droids, and thought “this will be too easy.” Suddenly Sara’s voice crackled over the com “Looks like seven droids outside the bunker, and five inside with an omega version, a tank, and a sniper” an omega version is a droid with way better armor and heavy weapons, and a sword with a gray color when the normal droids have a grayish brown color.

“On your mark Sara.” Mike said, then not four seconds later Sara shot a few of the droids. At that moment everyone ran forward. John ran toward a droid, and high jump kicked the droid his foot went through the droid, then he spun on his heels to shot a droid aiming at Kevin.

Two more droids rushed from the bunker John grabbed both of their guns elbowed one droid away from him shot the other, and destroyed it then through the guns at the droid he kicked, and destroyed it.

Then without warning the droid he elbowed was hit by a tank round. John dove for cover behind a rock and before the tank could reload he threw a grenade in the barrel, and when it blew up the tank was destroyed.

Ssshhing. John heard it a moment before he jumped away, and the sword sliced the rock in two the omega shot a rocket toward John and he ducked ran toward the omega swept its legs out from under it and jumped away just when mikes rocket hit the omega.

The battle was over. John was outside sitting on a rock like a hero, while everyone else was gathering ammo, “I got some machine gun ammo.” Albert said, “I found pistol ammo.” Mike announced, “And there are some grenades over here.” Sara said.

When John removed his helmet he looked toward the sun rise, and inhaled the fresh morning air that still smelled like their was still some gun powder in the air, and felt the rush of the morning breeze the wind breaking in half when it hit his nose, and rolling across his cheeks he thought that it was the most beautiful sunrise he had ever seen.

When he put back on his helmet, and went back in he heard Kevin say “I found a rock” then John noticed there was a hidden door with a keypad that’s when Mike said “Okay everyone we will sleep here until the sun goes down so get some sleep.
