Ashs POV

As the truck rumbled to life and set in motion, I thought to myself how weird it felt being in a vehicle. We had ran everywhere, and greedily observed DI's sometimes getting the luxury of taking a 4-wheeler somewhere.

"B, what time is our flight?"

He chuckled, "Eager to leave much... about 4 hours from now."

"B, can we go to Mcdonalds please." I asked, sugar coating my voice

His deep, throaty laughter filled the cab.

"Anything for you Angel."

The truck came to a stop about 5 minutes later and both of our windows rolled down and I was greeted by the voice of my brother.

"Nice to see you up and about Ashy." He said, a smile in his voice.

"You know it!" I said happily, very excited to be free from my hospital room even though I hadnt actually seen it.

David shouted across to Braxton, "Take care of her, Fisch or your gonna regret being born."

"Aye, aye Captain David." Came his cheeky response.

We exchanged goodbyes and see you soons and then the car was back in motion, David shouted one last time before Braxton closed the windows.

"Fisch dont get her pregnant either!"

"Im freaking serious!"

This time it was my turn to say something, "Not in this lifetime brother!"

The windows rolled up amd I could feel my face turning beet red from Davids comment, B poked my arm.

"Someones feeling awkward."

"All the time B, all the time."

Braxton turned on the radio and Taylor swift "You belong with me" filled the cab and I  joined along. I never cared if anyone thought I was a bad singer because to me it didnt matter.

Your on the phone with girlfriend shes upset

Going off about something that you said

But she dosent get humor like I do oo-oo

She wears short skirts, I wear t-shirts

Shes cheer captain and im on the bleachers......

"You know Angel I never was one for cheerleaders..."

"Oh please B, you were all over their short, flippy skirts".

He was silent for a moment.

"Angel, they cared to much about what everyone thought of the, they tried to hard." He paused.

"Angel theres nothin better than an independant women."

It was my turn to me silent.

We drove for about an hour to get to the airport, we had stopped at Mcdonalds and it was probably the best thing that ever happened to me. I had fallen asleep shortly after that and the world had faded from black to dreams that I could actually see.

"Ash wake up." A voice said, jolting me oout of the beauty of seeing in my dreams.

"What?" My groggy voice muttered.

"Airport my dear."

I was immediatly alert and awake.

Braxton got out of the truck and I heard him unloading things from the bed, he opened my door, undid my belt and lifted me into his arms to sit me in the stupid wheelchair.

"B, why cant you just carry me through the airport?" I asked wonderingly.

"Your too heavy Angel".

I gasped. 'Take it back!"

"Im just kidding, chillax. People would stare if I carried you through the airport in my uniform".
