Blossom (Watty Awards 2011)

CHARACHTER DISCRIPTION:

Jodie Moore

Age- Fourteen 

Hair Colour- Light Brown 

Eye Colour- Brown 

Hobbies- Camogie, Tennis, Swimming, Basketball, Shopping, With her friends

PROLOUGE: 

Jodie is a fourteen year old girl, who loves summer time, her friends and family. One night out at her older cousins sweet sixteenth, she meets this boy who she falls in love with. Jodie hardly knows this boys name though! She has never felt this way about anyone before, but will this all change when she discovers what he is realy like?

CHAPTER ONE: 

Jodie got out of bed early one Saturday morning. The sun was shining, and she could hear birds outside. What a lovely day. She was very excited to be going to her cousins birthday party with her friends. They were invited because Jodie's cousin, Emma, knew them.

Jodie got up, and went downstairs for breakfast. The smell of sausages and rashers must of been a sign of a "fry" also knowns as "A full Irish breakfast." Yes, Jodie is Irish, and she lives in a city called Dublin, Irelands capital. She has lots of friends, girls and boys, and loves them all so much! Jodie sat at her table with her slipper socks on her feet, and her night gown around her. She tucked into her delicous breakfast. When she was done, she ran up to her room, and decided that she was going to call her friends and meet them in town so they could go shopping for an outfit for her cousins birthday which was on that evening. She got dressed and put on her sparkly purple string top, and her denim shorts. She straightened her hair, and put on some make-up, emphasising on the eyeliner and silver eyeshadow. She put on some glossy lip gloss, and some foundation. She grabbed her "Guess" handbag and went out the door. Four o' clock, and they were back.

Jodie tried on her outfit she had bought for her mother and father to see. It was fashonable denim shorts that were, short shorts. And a to die for black top with sparkly pink and white hearts, quoets and designs on it. The outfit worked realy well together. After all, it was a party in a disco, with hot boys! Jodie was hardly going to go in a maxi dress! She wore skin colout tights though, because she didn't like using fake tan, and didn't want anyone to see her legs, bare!

It was six o'clock in the evening, and Jodie and her friends decided to have something to eat. Jodie wasnt much of a cook, but she tried her best to make some oven pizza, which she burned. Jodie ate the pizza, trying to pick of the burnt crust. After Jodie and her friends had eaten, it was time to get ready. Earlier on, all the girls had got their hair done, and Jodie had also gotton the top of her ear peirced. Everyone admired it, thats why Jodie got her hair done UP!

When all the girls were changed, they topped up the make-up, put on a bit of extra hair spray and packed their suitcase full of stuff they needed. The girls were staying the night in a fancy hotel together, so they packed everything they needed. It was easy to pack, but when it got to the point of putting everything in the boot of the care, things got a bit difficult!

An hour later, Jodie's mom pulled up outside "Blossom Night Club." The girls could hear the music pumping from inside. Jodie's mom told them all to be careful, and if there was a problem to call her or Jodie's dad straight away! She toned her voice down when she was saying this to the ditsy girls.  

"Oh, and girls. Your only fourteen and well Amber your fifteen, but listen to the rule list. No drinking, no smoking and no...funny buisness okay?" All the girls looked at eachother going red. "Mom, stop!" Jodie said through her teeth nudging her mother at the same time. "What? Its for your own g-...." Jodie opened the car door. "Yes mom we get the point!" Jodie grabbed her handbag, and the suitcase's, and stood for a second. "Thanks for bringing us mom. See you tomorrow!" Jodie smiled at her mother as she drove off. "Ok lets get ready to have one hell of a night girls!" Jodie ran inside the nightclub, clutching her handbag a wheeling the suitcase behind her. She met up with her cousin and gave her her card and present. "Heya Jodie! You can leave your suitcase's in the back-room okay everyone?" Jodie nodded and smiled whilst struggling with her heavy suitcase. When the girls came back, they were ready to have fun, so they went onto the dance floor and started dancing to there favoirite song at the moment!
