Niall was mostly ready except for just fixing a couple things on himself.  It wasn’t very long until his mobile went off, showing another text from Liam.  A text that Niall found himself eagerly waiting for.

‘I’m sitting on the bench across the street from your place, come down when your ready :)’

Niall threw on a pair of trainers and left his place, locking the door behind himself.  He replied to Liam as he waited for the elevator to reach his floor.

‘To: LiLi

I’m on my way down!! And by the way I think you mean *you’re haha :P :)’

He climbed in the elevator and rode it downwards, awaiting the ‘ding’ telling you that yo have reached the floor you asked for.  After the sound rung he practically leaped through the elevator doors and immediately saw Liam through the glass doors of the lobby.

He sat on the bench looking to his left, you couldn’t quite tell at what, though.  Niall couldn’t help but notice the fact that a smile never left his face. It was something Niall couldn’t get his head around.  There hadn’t been one time where the smile disappeared, it may grow and shrink, but never gone.  Niall had given up on focusing on these different thoughts towards Liam, because even though he couldn’t explain why or how, he knew one thing, and that was that Liam made him feel good.  Good about himself, his life, his thoughts, his everything.  Niall stood there for a moment just observing the lad across the street. Creepy, some would say, but Niall couldn’t resist.

He was soon his normal self when a idea sprung to mind. He immediately ran toward the backdoor of his building. He walked through the corridors leading to the metal door and quickly exited.  He walked around his building far enough so that he was out of the sight of Liam.  Niall crossed the street and walked behind the bushes that carried down the block; Including behind the bench Liam was sitting on, so unsuspecting of what was about to come.  He slowly walked toward Liam from behind the bushes, making sure not to be seen. He eventually found himself about ten feet behind the bench, so without thinking twice he immediately began bolting toward the bench.  Gather enough speed, he leaped and placed both hands on Liam’s shoulders ‘leap frogging’ over him.

“Holy mother of f-“ Liam began angry until he realized who it was. Seeing the toothy imperfect grin of his new Irish friend made all anger seep away, only to be replaced with a bantering tone. “Niall!? What on earth!?”

Niall tried to reply, in between giggles.

“I’m sorry mate, I jus- I just” He couldn’t stop. Liam just continued sitting on the bench, listening to Niall laugh at least thirty seconds away before he calmed himself down. The whole time he was laughing Liam just watched him intently, waiting for an explanation.

“I acted on impulse, you could say,” Niall finally said.

“A day in your head and I would end up in the looney bin, I reckon.” Liam replied.

“I promise you there’s method to my madness.”

“Yeah yeah, haha, c’mon let’s go. I know just where we should go.” Liam smiled at the thought of where he was taking Niall.

“Where are we going to go?” Niall asked as they began walking.

“Please say that you actually expect me to tell you right away?”

“Naw, I just thought there’s no harm in trying” Niall said winking at Liam.  Their smiles still hadn’t left, and didn’t for that entire day.

“Well no, I’m not telling you yet, though it will become obvious after a short while more”

“Aww come on Li, I can’t stand suspense,” Niall begged.
