The days were flying by at warped speed, with one thing after another going on. Daniella felt like she was barrelling through life on hyper speed, and couldn’t wait for the day when she could finally breathe and relax a bit.
She was delighted about the turnout for Anthony’s graduation, remembering the look on his face once he saw his mother and father waiting outside the new house, with a beautiful black limousine to escort him to his graduation ceremony.
The smile hasn’t left his face since. Prior to graduation Anthony spent some time writing different articles for the online magazine. Daniella loved his writing and both of them went over plans for his future.
They looked at a bunch of different colleges and decided on the university closest to home. He spoke to his parents in detail about his future and it was agreed that he and his brothers will be living with Daniella and Sean while they continued to deal with family issues.
Once the ceremony was over, everyone returned to the estate for a huge celebration packed with a few different surprises for the graduate. His mother and father gave him money, so that he could join all his friends, at the beach, for senior week, along with a huge lecture about being responsible, which included safe sex, no drinking and no drugs.
George, Isadora, and grandpa chipped in and bought Anthony a brand new, BMW 35i, in black sapphire metallic, which absolutely surprised him. Daniella smiled as she remembered the look on his face when he was handed a box with a key inside. He ran to all three of his grandparents and hugged them like he just won the lottery.
Benny and William handed Anthony his car insurance paperwork, and paid his car insurance in full, for his first year. Daniella and Sean gave Anthony a job with the online magazine and Doll Baby, where he would submit articles to Mateo on a weekly basis and earn a salary. They also bought him a brand new Macbook Pro, clothes for school and work, and gave him his very own credit card to be used for anything he needed.
Daniella was sitting down at the kitchen table smiling to herself, “Daniella, did you hear me?” asked Sean for the third time.
“Oh Sean, I’m sorry, I didn’t hear you. What did you say?”
“I said, it’s Wednesday and tonight is the benefit for Doll Baby. Aren’t you excited?”
“I really am.”
“Are you okay? You look a little flushed.”
“I’m fine, just remembering Anthony’s graduation and how proud I am of him.”
Sean smiled and pulled Daniella up to him, “Well, I’m so proud of you.” He nuzzled into her ear and started to nibble and kiss her.
Daniella squealed, “Behave yourself Mr. Guerra, before my grandfather cuts you off from me entirely.”
Sean groaned, “I can’t believe he has you sleeping in the bedroom next to his. I’m dying over here without you.”
Daniella started laughing, “Just a few more days until we are married, do you think you can make it till then?”
“I’m trying, but it isn’t easy.”
“I know it isn’t easy babe, just a few more days to suffer through, then I’ll be all yours.”
“Oh, Kristie called and needs you to call her back right away. Here’s your cell phone.”
“Where did I leave it?”
“Your grandmother found it in the refrigerator last night.” said Sean laughing.
“The refrigerator? What the heck?”
“Yup, had us laughing for a good fifteen minutes.”
“You all are so mean.” said Daniella as she took her phone from Sean and put it down on the table.
“I am running over to Home Depot with your brother, I’ll be back in a few hours.” said Sean as he kissed and started to leave.
“Can I go upstairs yet?”
“NO, and don’t even think about trying to sneak a peek. My foreman told me he busted you sneaking up the stairs yesterday.”
Daniella blushed and looked down at the floor, “I can’t stand it any longer. What are you building up there, that I can’t see?”
“That’s for me to know and you to find out. Now if I find out that you are a naughty little girl,
