Sea of Pain

Pain washes over me
Its waves dragging me down
To the dark and crushing depths
My fear is that I'll drown
Or give in to death's embrace
Its false sense of security
But only He can turn the tide
Of this dark and stormy sea
I desparately reach out to Him
While those around me mock
My Lord, my Hope, my only Friend
He is my Solid Rock!
