My hands start to shiver
My legs start to shake
My lips start to quiver
The earth starts to quake
A cold creeps over me
That I can’t explain
It’s a thousand degrees
To me it’s all in vain
That feeling in the back of my throat
Won’t let go of me
Wrenching everything out of my guts
Blurring my vision so I can’t see
Panic overtakes me
The air gets harder to breathe
My blood feels like lead
Getting pumped through my veins
Get this weight off my chest
I need to move, need to live
Clutch myself in this lonely bed
What would I give
Won’t give up to darkness
When I know the light is near
You come through in spite of distance
You always erase my fears
For you I promise I’ll conquer
Everything that gets me down
Because my mission is to take you higher
Than anything you’ve ever known
