Love at first sight was a foreign concept for me,
Though I believed in its existence, it never appealed to me.
But one look at you and I knew, I never stood a chance,
You had me captivated and mesmerized, you captured my heart at first glance.
You looked like an angel, bathed in white,
Your beautiful gray eyes were so curious, innocent and bright.
I had been battling with demons, my heart was filled with despair,
It felt like I had been crawling, clawing and grasping for air,
You vanquished my demons, the darkness, the filth
You filled my life with colours to the hilt.
I love you Adeen, my baby, you are my number one,
My heart belongs to you, for eternity, my son.
