It All Started With a Paintball Game

"I don't understand why you refuse to dress up. Jeans, band tee, and a hoodie isn't party dress you know" Cloud complained like like he has been since I got into the car. "Yes I do know, and I knew 15 minutes ago when you first started complaining." I told him as I rang the doorbell a few seconds later Reid answered the door.

"Hey Ski you made it." Reid said with the biggest smile on his face. "Well basicly games over there, karaoke on that side, and fun all around." He pointed all around as he said the places as the bombing music filled the room. I saw my team leaving one by one going into different places leaving me alone with Reid.

"Your boyfriend left you" He said with a bit of aggression, pointing to Cloud. I just laughed "Um that's my brother, my older brother Cloud" I told him still laughing. His cheeks turned Starbucks pink, "Well you guys don't act like brother and sister you seem a bit too close. And what brother let's his sister be in charge of him?" asked Reid.

I never liked explaining why Cloud and I are so close but I'm use to it by now "Well it's just the two of us and he knows that if he doesn't listen to me he'll never make it past the second round. Plus he rather have me happy then mad at him because he knows I can make his life a living hell with out breaking a sweat. So he's nice to me for his health." I told him grabbing a handful of barbeque chips from a bowel.

"Well maybe you should let more people in, maybe someone like me" Reid said taking a chip out of my hand. I asked sliding the second question in there so the it didn't seem weird.

"Yes I know about the bowel but your hand is more personal. And depends if you're gonna gonna say yes the yeah I am but if it's a no then I was say it so the we could be friends," He told me. Right as I was gonna answer him Cloud came out of no where and said

"She'll love to go out on a date with you, how about next week Saturday at 8. Give her you cell number she'll text you our address later and I promise she'll be dressed for a date instead of a football game like now" I turned to face Cloud with shock and annoyance. Big brothers are suppose to forbid there little sisters from dating people. How did I end up of the stick. All Reid did was laugh and wrote one a napkin.

"Here's my number text call any time about anything nothings to small to text about" He said handing and giving me a wink before walking away. "What was that about?!?" I yelled at Cloud. "Well you never know maybe he's your mate. Every time he's touched you, it's been covered up, so for all we know he could be your mate. He acts like he's you're mate maybe he's being a gentleman by not saying anything yet. Then it'll be perfect our pack and his combined we'll have more land and a stronger pack" Cloud explained

Even when he's having fun and making my life miserable he's thinking on how to be a better Alpha. "Your such Alpha god I'll go but this doesn't mean anything ok." I told him he just nodded, I love my brother and all but why does it feel like I just made a deal with the devil.

So why is it that when you want a week to drag on forever it goes by in a flash? It's like life hates you or something. That's how I feel right now, like life hates me so much for no reason. It's a been a week already, which means the day I was dreading came Saturday and now I get to go on a date with a guy I knew all of 3 things about. His number, address, and that he played paintball, the first two made me seem like I was a stalker though.

It would help if we went to the same school, but even though our lands are next to each other the boundary line runs in between our two lands which at times is a good and bad thing. Like right now it's a bad thing. But it's always been like that, the only time our two packs come in contact with each other is when we were on public land around the the town we lived in. It's not like we hate each other or anything but we have lives and don't have time to communicate with each other.

But now here I am sitting in my room having my brother going through my clothes and dressing up like barbie. " Okay how about your new red converse black skinny jeans and this red top with this white jacket?" Cloud asked holding up the outfit "Um where did you get that I know the shoes are mine but everything else isn't. I don't wear skinny jeans and I don't own a white jacket it seems to be preppy." I asked I didn't even recognize the clothes he was holding up.
