Chapter 25

***Rachel POV***

     Its been a month since I last saw Alexa which was weird. She was gone the day I went to Wal-mart. I left to her sleeping on the couch and came back to a ote saying that she felt that she overstayed her welcome and didn't wake Alex since she didn't want to be talked out of her decision. Not only that but Alex had been a little fidgety. He didn't let me go anywhere alone, which I thought was because my due date was a month away but that didn't explain why he bought a house with an alarm system. But he's recently eased up. 

     The house is beautiful. Its two story, white with gold borders. The living room,dining room, kitchen are down stairs. Up stairs is a master bedroom, master bathroom, Pink baby room, a bathroom for guests with a baby station in a corner and a guest bedroom. And to top it all off it has a private pool. I swim in it as much as I can the water seems to sooth me.

     Right now me and alex are watching spongebob I was on the couch laying in between Alex's legs. He was rubbimg my belly in a way that made me more comfortable than my baby. I'm starting to fall asleep and Alex takes notice. I begin to get up to head to the bed room when Im carried bridal style by Alex. I don't know how or why he does it but he has ever since we moved in. He told me before fallimg asleep that he was gonna call in two hours and to wearthe dress he got for me. I didmt know he bouhht me a dress but I'll see it later right now I'm gonna catch up on my sleep.

"Alex?" I asked

"Yea?"

"Where are you going?"

"I need to go do something. I'll be back to pick you up."

I yawned "Ok" Then fell asleep.

***Alex's POV***

I finally arrived at the house. I was wearing a black tux with a bowtie to match.I called Rachel and told her to come out 20 minutes ago. But I could wait. I reached into my pocket and pulled out-BOOM!!!

Right there before my eyes was my house in flames.

***3rd POV***

Alex dropped everything and ran towards the house.He needed to save not only the love of his life but his child. Neighbors have called 911 and have gatheredround the scene not knowing what's going on or what to do. Alex was in there for 20 minutes until the Fire rescue, ambulance, and police arrived. The firemen immediatley ran into the house. While waitimg for something to happen next an EMT noticed something on the ground. It was what Alex dropped. She ran over and picked up the velvet box and opened it. Inside was a ring. Rachels birth stone in the middle surrounded by smaller diamonds. On the outside were There initials followed by 'Always & Forever'

It was a wedding ring. Alex was going to propose.
