GONE WENT THE LOVE OF A SMILE
How can I go on
When all I feel is gone
Who would have ever known
That I could be so wrong.
Sometimes I want to flee
Get my golden wings
Fly where angels fly
For all eternity.
Looking down upon the many
As they remember me
I can see the heartfelt tears
As I sooth them with a soft breeze.
Not the ones who force the smile
But the ones who smile through teary eyes
Staring and looking towards the sky
Sending thoughts and prayers of how they really miss me
I can feel their heart break
Begging me to come back home
For them I am truly sorry
because yes I am really GONE.
