Madalas ng makitang magkasama ngayon si Julie at Elmo at public places. Sa mall, restaurants and even family functions. And every spotlights pointed at them. Maraming good write ups but mas maraming bad things na lumalabas about them.
The Adiks are all giddy to know latest about the two. Every picture they saw, every write ups they read, everything they dissect it and give meaning. Even the slightest grin on Elmo's face and Julie's pouty lips.
"Hey what are you doin' in here? Di ba dapat nasa studio ka recording your songs?" Julie asked Elmo and gave peck on the cheek.
"I felt so tired"
"Why, what happened?" Julie hold Elmo's hand. "saka panong hindi ka mapapagod you drive from Antipolo up to here at the location. Wala ka namang sked shoot ngayon ah."
"I just missed you. And I wanna see you, talked to you" Elmo grab Julies hand and let her sit on his lap.
"Hey, what's going on. You don't look fine" and Julie felt Elmo nuzzled her hair and embrace her waist.
"Just five minutes. Let's just stay like this for five minutes."
"Okey. I will wait till you're ready to talk." and Julie start humming.
She felt Elmo's labored breathing as if trying to stop him self from crying and his arms become a little bit tighter but she continue humming until she sings.
Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it ok
There's always one reason
To feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction ooh beautiful release
Memory seeps from my veins
Let me be empty and weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight
In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you feel
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of angel
May you find some comfort here
As she sings his breathing become slow and steady and his arms started to loosen. And Elmo started to hum and sing with her.
So tired of the straight line
And everywhere you turn
There are vultures and thieves at your back
And the storm keeps on twisting
You keep on building the lie
That you make up for all that you lack
It wont make no difference
Escaping one last time
It's easier to believe in this sweet madness oh
This glorious sadness that brings me to my knees
