Chapter 1: The News.

I sat on my seat in a not-so-interesting Math class doodling on my textbook out of boredom while Mrs. Flinch was explaining trigrometrical ratios. Ugh, how I hate Math but somehow like my teacher cause of her supportive behavior.

Well, this is me. My name is Valerie. I’m 19, average looking girl, with soft brown wavy hair. I’ve average height and I’m happy with it. Definitely skinny! I’m a Celeb-a-holic, as my friends would put it, hopelessly in love Josh Hutcherson, I mean, have you look at him? His smile is heavenly! Oh and did I mention THE Louis Tomlinson is my best friend since God knows how long.

*RING*

Finally! Finally! Finally, math is over. I sigh in relief. I assemble all of my stuff, put it in my bag and nudge my other best friend Ellie sitting next to me, who I’m pretty darn sure, was day dreaming about Niall. She knows about me and Louis and is a massive Directioner, yeah, so she definitely freaks out my Louis calls or texts, though we haven’t talked in AGES.

I playfully smacked her on her head, again, bringing her back to reality from her la la land.

“Ow! Wee! What was that for?!” she asked rubbing her head.

“I had to do that cause you wouldn’t come back from your la la land. The bell rang ages ago and have of the class is gone, so you need to get your lazy ass up. Let’s go, Dylan must be waiting for me.” I replied.

“Ohhh. Ask your boyfriend to have patience young lady!” She cooed sticking her tongue out.

  “Ha ha. Very funny, now come on.” I said rolling my eyes.

She sighed and got up.

“So any news from Lou?” She asked.

“Nope –“ I was interrupted my Mrs. Flinch calling us.
“Yes ma’am?”

“Well girls. I’ve a job for you both,” We nodded waiting for her to continue. “Well girls, as this is your last year of your school and you have just a few months left, we decided why not have a little fund raising concert? So I’d like you (she pointed at me) Valerie to manage it and you (she pointed at El) Ellie, assist her please.”

Oh-keyy. Weird. Why? Cause I haven’t managed any event in my entire life!

“Oh really? Who’s performing?” Ellie beamed.

“Uh, One Direction” Mrs. Flinch said making me chuckle. Yeah right. Dude, they’re in America, on tour! They won’t just come here to perform at our school. Sure, Lou has been the student of this school, but it doesn’t mean he’s gonna come here all the way from America just to perform at a small fund raising concert..

“What is it Valerie?” Mrs. Flinch asked with knotted eyebrows.

“Oh, just nothing. I thought you said One Direction is coming to perform.”

“She did say that Wee.” Ellie replied.

“What?!” Okay now I was shocked.

“Yes.”

“Awesome!” Ellie exclaimed excitedly making me grin from ear to ear. Wow.. I fially get to see him again. That smile, those shaggy hair, green sparkling eyes, his voice, his jokes.. I’ve missed it. All of it. I do admit I had this little crush on him when we were younger but I was over it when he left for the xfactor, right?

“Ow!” I exclaimed as something, which I’m assuming was Ellie’s fist, came in contact with my arm. She gave me a deadly glare telling me to come out of my dreamland cause Mrs. Flinch was still here.

We listened carefully the details about the concert and how we should plan it whih took about 10 minutes. My stomach growled and my face brightened due to embarrassment. Mrs Flinch let us go. I was now really excited. 1D was suppose to come to my school from the week, which means, Louis, my best friend, my next door neighbor, will be here a bit earlier which means I get to hang out with him and the boys before the whole rehearsals and all.

We reached out lockers to put our stuff away and then were about to head to the cafeteria when two arms wrapped around my waist pulling to back. I turned my head to the side and saw Dylan smiling widely.

“Hey babe.”
