As mentioned in book one, 'Unbroken', Sky's brother Christopher killed himelf. You've read Cat's story but have you ever wondered about Sky's and Christopher's past life? This is Christopher's point of view of life before death. And life after life. Sky leaves home and runs away to Wisconsin where he meets Cat, leaving his kid brother Christopher behind to live with their abusive father, and cowardly mother. Things get worse when Christophers father finds out he's gay and forces him to stay with his girlfriend Taylor because her father works with Christopher's dad. He claims Christopher being gay will ruin his "reputation" and/or career. They're a very rich family but treats Chistopher like shit. Not only does he have it bad at home, but the rumors spread and Christopher becomes teased and harassed at school. Read to find out how Christopher copes with is life and how it was for Sky before 'Unbroken.'
