A/N so I deleted my Alice in Wonderland story because I just really didn't want to write it anymore. So since I'm a huge CatchingYourClouds fan, and if you know me outside of Wattpad you know for a fact how in love I am with this boy. Anways, I decided I would replace Alice with a CYC fanfiction since there are literally ZERO. And I was like "might as well make one".
So here we are. I'm just winging this, I have no prewritten anything. If you've read my fanfiction Dreams Are My Reality (it's an every band fanfiction, not just one specific band, although it started as a BVB based one and I needed to move away from that and branch off) you'd know that I switch POV's around by chapter, that's how this one will be.
Hope you like it <3
Chapter 1 - Bliss POV.
"Bliss?" came an annoyingly familiar voice. "Bliss."
I snuggled deeper into my bed. "I'm sleeping, Siren. Piss off."
"Get up. You don't seem to know what today is. You don't, do you?" Siren, my best friend since we were five, yanked my arm, pulling me out from where I was comfortably lodged in between my wall and a mountain of pillows.
"SIREN, YOU WHORE," I yelled as I was yanked again, this time harder, hard enough to pull me out of my bed completely and onto the floor.
"Oh hey, you're up!" I blinked my eyes at the small girl. She had snow white hair in a pretty pixie cut, white size zero gauges in her ears, pale flawless skin, and to accentuate the whole "snow look" she was apparently going for, she was wearing white contacts that only had a black ring outlining her normally green irises and obviously her pupil. She was wearing a Motionless In White "Puppets" shirt, and short, distressed and studded black shorts that showed off her legs. She wasn't wearing any shoes. She hardly wore shoes. "I like to be one with nature," she always says. "And I like to do it by feeling it with my feet." She wasn't wearing any makeup besides white eyeliner. Of course. She always had a different color theme. Recently it's been white.
"Uh, yeah. I'm up."
"Here's your coffee. Vegan, of course." She handed me a hot Starbucks cup. I stood up and sipped it gratefully.
"What time is it?"
"Nine-thirty," Siren chirped.
"I could kill you. I could kill you and it would be acceptable because no one wakes up at nine-thirty if they don't have somewhere to be. And let's think. We literally just finished our senior year last week. We don't have jobs. We have nothing to do. So why am I up this early?"
"I could slap you. We do have things to do Bliss! You're useless in the morning. There's things to do, places to be, clothes to buy, concerts to be at."
"Sorry I forgot! Shouldn't have woke me up so early, I can't function."
"You forget everything. Are you even packed? We have to be in LA. We have to be there and we are most definitely not there. The concert is tomorrow, Bliss."
"I don't forget everything. Yes, I'm packed. We live in San Diego, you're acting like we're in New York and need to be in California. Calm yourself."
"I am calm. I'm just saying. Get ready. All my stuff is in the car, I'll be waiting there." Siren then whisked out of my room, leaving me alone.
I stretched, finished off my coffee and made my way to my closet where I picked out a black NeverShoutNever shirt that had Chris, Hayden, and Taylor on the front, and a pair of American flag knee length skin tight cut offs, and put it all on. They had been skinny jeans but I cut them to my knees because California was simply too hot.
When I was dressed, I checked my hair in my mirror. I had rib length wavy dark midnight blue hair, skin just like Siren's - not porcelain pale like Siren, but pretty, creamy, and mark free (Not to sound braggy, I just have a good skin care routine). I didn't do anything to it but brush through it because it looked fine, and I didn't put any makeup on. I looked myself up and down. I was small but not scrawny - a size three jeans, I wasn't busty, I was just average, and I wasn't tall - only 5'3. I had light blue eyes that I was always covering with colored special effect contacts like Siren. I had packed them, so I decided not to wear them.
Siren and I were going to be staying in LA for three weeks. She heard CatchingYourClouds was playing a gig there and it was open access - anyone could go without tickets. I wasn't really into them - I didn't know anything about them. I was going to it for Siren's benefit; she was a huge fan. I'd only heard one song by CatchingYourClouds. LAWL, which Siren told me stood for "Live A Whole Life". They were really good if you asked me, but I was going to let Siren have her moment with the concert. The real reason we had to go to LA (the concert was just something that happened to be happening while we were there) was because Siren and I were going apartment/job hunting. Our parents have been far to generous for far too long. All four of them (my parents and her parents) worked in the same law firm, and they were high up there. So in conclusion, yes, Siren and I were spoiled.
