When I am lost, when I am blue
When I do not know what to do
I sit and find a brush or two
And paint a fantasy
When I can't stand the world at all
When I'm so dizzy I might fall
I make myself mighty and tall
In my land of fantasy
Reality just flies away
And fairies, nymphs, have come to play
Oh, how I wish I could just stay
In such joyous fantasy
The sunset is a glorious blaze
Laughing 'gainst the mountain haze
Oh, how I could spend days and days
In such a fantasy
I paint and paint and paint and paint
Until reality's so faint
So nothing will come trying to taint
My perfect fantasy
I lose myself in what is real
Or what I know, oh what I feel
And hide myself in case you steal
My perfect fanatsy
But soon the beauty disappears
They have come true, my greatest fears
And so I go dissolve in tears
Losing my fantasy
So blinded that I cannot see,
So dead and wasted I can't be,
I let the good winds carry me
Away to fantasy.
My reality, my world, my perfect fantasy.
