Chapter 5

Finally the train slowed and finally stopped. Everyone started to get up and get their bags. Then everyone was on the platform and walking up the path to the big school.

When I got to the school gate I went in and straight to the reception.

“Hi” I said to the woman sat at the desk.

“Hi” she replied looking up. When she saw me she looked shocked.

“I’m Autumn Summers.” I continued.

“Oh, you’re Jim’s niece.”

“Yep. I was told to come here to get my key and stuff.” I replied.

“Yes, here is the key.” She said handing over a key with a mini number plate on the chain.

“And here is your map and class time table. Your dorm is on the third floor, just look for the door with the same number as your key.” She said handing over some sheets.

“And you have to give this to your teachers on your first day for them to sign. Then bring it back here at the end of the day.” She continued. “There’s a lift by the stairs.”

“Thanks” I said then picked up my bags and walked to the lift.

‘309, 310, ah, 311,’ I thought to myself as I put the key in the lock and opened the door.

‘Four beds. That means... roommates.’ I assumed.

When I got all my stuff sorted out I grabbed some clothes and went into the bathroom to change into some shorts and a tank top. I walked out of the bathroom just as door opened to reveal 3 guys... wait GUYS!

“What’s a chick doing here?” One of the guys asked

“Don’t know, but she was on the train.” The second guy who I recognised as Alex replied.

“Oh yeah, you sat with her.” The last guy said.

“Um, yeah hi, I am standing right here, I can hear what you’re saying and stop talking about me like I am an object.” I said annoyed that they talking about me like I was invisible. “Wait why am I rooming with 3 guys?” I questioned. My uncle and parents were in big trouble and I mean BIG trouble.

“I don’t know, but why are you at an all boy’s school?”

“Um, well, I didn’t actually know this was an all boys school. My uncle is the headmaster and my parents persuaded him to let me come here” I explained.

“Oh, well maybe we should go to the office and sort this out.” Alex suggested.

“Okay.” I replied.

As we walked down the corridor every guy we passed gawked at me. Seriously, it was like they had never seen a girl before. Jeez. 

I didn’t realise that we had got to the office until I heard Alex talking.

“Well, we were wondering why a girl was rooming with a load of guys?”

“Well we don’t have any other rooms, so I’m afraid she will have to stay there.”

“Okay, thanks” I butted in.

On the way back I got a lot of wolf whistles from the guys we passed. When I remembered what I was wearing and started to blush.

“What’s wrong?” Alex asked looking over at me and seeing my red cheeks. All I could do was gesture to what I was wearing.

“Oh right.” He replied realising.” Let’s take the lift, it will be quicker.”

“Okay,”

We got into the lift and just as the doors were closing a guy managed to jump in and stand next to me. Suddenly I felt something touch my ass. I jumped and yelped as I realised it was the new guy’s hand.

Alex turned to me shocked. Again I felt my cheeks go bright red.

“Zack what the hell? Keep your hands to yourself.” Alex fumed.

‘Aw, he cares and he’s hot! ‘I thought.

“Sorry mate, but she’s hot” Zack replied flirting with me as he said it.

“Um, this is our stop Alex.” I said as Alex had a staring competition with Zack.

“COME ON!” I said again exasperatedly as Alex ignored me. I had to drag him out of the lift.
