Just an ODE! (POEM)

I fly! I crawl!
I soar! I stumble!
The sky smiles and the rain pours.
No one else was here but me crying on the shore.


I conquer! I fail!
I catch! I lose!
The leaves swayed and the rocks drifted,
No one hears but me deafening at every turn.


The cloud kisses the sun,
And the ocean touches the shore.
In me no one else's resides,
But you and your beautiful soul.


The sea water washes my footprints on the sand.
The echoes drown my screams uphill.
No one can be me, unless I let you be.


So many questions swimming in my head.
The thunder of regret that I can't mend.
I do mistakes and no excuses,
Just be still and wait.

I whisper in the air and it echoes through the mountains.
I sang our song to reach the depths of your soul.
The longing I feel was nothing compared to my passion.
I held you tight just to lose you in the dark.

The grip of my hands never let it go.
The depths of my cuts stained by blood.
You can never understand my facts,
And forever be kept on the other side.


I walked! You ran!
I stopped! You move forward!
The sun sets, the moon rise.
That's how it is,
You and I will always be apart.!!
