RAVEN: "Isn't that.....??!!!"
REESE/GIA/NICOLE: "Who?" (they all look toward the other side of the club)
OMG, it's Dustin!! Woo, I knew he couldn't stay away from me too long lol. Aww, and he's looking so cute in that black jacket and... wait who's that girl with him? I hope it's not his girlfriend.
REESE: "Oh, girl! It's your man Dustin!"
GIA: "And he's with a girl..."
RAVEN: "And he's coming over here. How do I look?" (internally freaks out)
NICOLE: "FAB-ulous."
DUSTIN: (walking over) "Hey, Raven!"
RAVEN: "Hey, Dustin. We meet again haha."
DUSTIN: "Ha, yea. Hey Nicole, Reese, and... is this your friend?"
REESE: "Yeah, this is Gia, our friend we told you about."
DUSTIN: "Oh, right. Wassup?"
GIA: (becomes shy) "H-hi Dustin."
DUSTIN: "Nice to meet you." (smiles)
CLUB GIRL: (clears throat)
DUSTIN: "OH! Um, this is my date for the night, Melissa. I met her last week."
RAVEN: "Oh, hi. Is she your girlfriend?"
DUSTIN: "No, we're just friends--"
MELISSA: "Yeah, just friends for now." (smiles at Dustin)
NICOLE: "So... what's the special occasion?"
DUSTIN: "Just hanging out; gonna see some live talent tonight."
REESE: "Oh, for the open mic? You should sing up there, Dustin!"
RAVEN: "Yeah, show 'em what you got." (grins)
DUSTIN: (chuckles) "I would, but I don't wanna show 'em out, ya know." (pops collar)
MELISSA: "You're so silly, babe."
RAVEN: (glares at Melissa) "Well, talk to you later, Dustin. Be good."
DUSTIN: "Aight, you too." (winks)
__ Reese's POV __
REESE: "Did you see that girl glued to his arm? Like dang girl, get off him."
NICOLE: "Yeah, all up on him like she his girlfriend... and they just 'friends' -- yeah right, like that's even true."
RAVEN: "Whatever, guys. All I know is in the end, me and Dustin will be a couple." (smiles a little)
GIA: "Awwww."
REESE: "She TALKS!" (jokingly to Gia)
GIA: "Ha, ha, ha. Y'all know I'm shy around guys."
The lights in the club dimmed and a speaker took the stage.
SPEAKER: "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to SoulGlow. Tonight, we will be having a few poems and music by local artists as well as a chance for one lucky audience member to come onstage and show their talent. But for now, sit back and enjoy music that will make your Soul... Glow!"
