When I stand here
You sit there
When I walk here
You run there
Darling, what do you want me to do?
Everytime I try
You shake your head
And I'd always cry
I wanted to stop
I said I had enough
All this opposite games we play
They were just very tough
But you'd answer always surprisingly
You would hold my hand and smile at me
You would tell me all your favorite dreams
Of us together and just happily be
And I'd be back in your arms so blissfully
My sweet, what do you want from me?
You keep giving me these awful memories
Of us together and being opposites
Of fighting, shouting and broken tears
It's funny how I always never learn my lessons
No matter what we do, we're just one complication
Who never seemed to get enough of petty quarrels
Who'd always go through so many problems
But come back in one piece and just as broken
Oh, darling, together we're one horrible mess
But divided we're just pure emptiness
We never really knew what to do with ourselves
Without the other, our lives would be nothing but blackness
