New Beginnings: The Fourth of the Hunger Games Series

"Please, Katniss." Peeta pleaded. He'd been asking me for years now. Too many years. He really truly wanted to, and I was really truly sick of hearing it. I gazed into those dazzling blue eyes; so clearly filled with sadness and longing. I sighed and shut my eyes tightly. I knew that if I answered his question the way he hoped I would, there would be no turning back or he'd hate me for it. But the words were already forming on my tongue, and I knew how happy it would make him.

"Yes." I whispered back to him, my eyes opening once more. "Yes Peeta."

The first thing to register on his face was shock. Pure shock. He'd been begging me to do this for ages now, and I'd just said yes out of the blue. But that shock quickly changed to a smile as he kissed me, and led me to our bed...

And no, this is not the beginning of the story. This is simply a moment I thought was romantic; where Katniss finally agrees to have a child with Peeta. :)

The first chapter should be out in an hour or so!
