One bright, beautiful day, a baby princess was born in the castle of Amethea, The king Alexander and Queen Daphne were over joyed at the birth of their new heir. Zoe a beautiful white eyed, silver haired child that although her appearance wasn’t normal it entranced anyone that laid eyes upon her. There was a strange white glow emitting from the Darling little princess, “Alexander you must go to Sir Helios and ask him about what is happening to our daughter,”
The king with joy and worry in his eyes went to consult the royal fortune teller, Sir Helios, to find out what was happening to his precious daughter. “Ah your majesty, what can I assist you with” said Helios as he arrived, King Alexander replied, “I just left the Daphne with our daughter and the princess is glowing!” “Glowing!” Helios exclaimed, “No, it can’t be happening.” “What are you talking about Helios?” Alexander asked confused. “The prophecy,” Helios answered almost immediately, “The prophecy states that a baby girl silver haired, white eyed with a faint glow will be born in this castle. However she will be no ordinary girl, she will be blessed with special abilities that only a handful of people in this world had been granted, she will be born to be the defender, protector and also the one to defeat the dark sorceress Iris,” before Helios could finish he was cut off by the king, “Iris! No it can’t be.” Helios continued ignoring the kings remarks, “My king, I must warn you, the princess must hardly leave the castle because Iris is aware of the prophecy also and will want to kill the princess while she is still in infancy,” King Alexander was in a state of shock and insisted that Helios must continue, “My king with your permission and that of the queens I will gladly train the princess for her upcoming battle with Iris on Zoe’s eighteenth birthday.” King Alexander agreed and a message was sent up to the queens room for her agreement.
Six years past and Zoe is a mischievous and playful child with a kind heart, She is still under hard training by her teacher Sir Helios and Zoe has learnt how to use about half of her abilities. “Mommy, Daddy why can’t I go outside and play with the other kids?” Zoe asked with tears in her eyes, “my little sugar plum you can’t go outside because bad people will harm you or even take you away from us,” said Daphne trying to comfort her, giving the king a little glance for him not to add anything more. Furious Zoe stomped away to her indoor pond because she was not allowed even to step a foot outside, she sat down on a rock and weeping. Then ‘ZOOM’ flew out Talia the dragon her best friend, “Hey what’s up with the miniature raindrops?” said Talia questionably, “I am … not … allowed outside,” Zoe said stuttering under every word, “I want to leave this place!” she screamed out of fury and stomped up to her room leaving the dragon by the pond pondering.
In her room Zoe grabbed a crayon and a paper and scouted for her escape route, she peered out her window at the walls that bordered the castle, squinting she managed to spot a whole that couldfit her mass through, happy as a clam she grabbed another paper and wrote a note to her parents explaining why she left and slid it under their door while they were in a meeting. She grabbed her violet backpack stuffed her favourite clothes and some clothes that were too big for her because she wasn’t planning on returning and headed toward the kitchen to ration some food for her traveling and a medium length of rope.
She ran to her room and proceeding to tying the rope to her bedroom window and the other end to her waist and jumped out the window head first. She summersaulted through the air and landed on her landed on her knees and whelped in pain, with all the commotion the guards were walking around to find the cause of the noise and Zoe activated one of her abilities which was invisibility, she held her breath as a big burly man walked near her and stopped directly infrount of her and proceeded walking around the corner. Zoe as if recovering from a heart attack ran to the whole in the wall and turned back for a final glimpse of the castle then she took off.
