Broken Heart (Poem)

Pick up the broken pieces

And glue it back together

Tie it up with rubber bands

And strings all made of leather

Pack it in a shipping box

And mail it to the sender

Say I'm sorry for the broken heart

But can you make it better

They tried to sew it up for you

But they could not have guessed

How empty it was inside

And now it's just a mess

And when you get it in the mail

Don't be too surprised

To see it's still a broken heart

Now scarred with many lies
