Paranormal Pals *On Hold*

"Hey what the,"  I heard the sound of my own voice being muffled by used ketchup packets and banana peels.  " What did I do this time?"

"It don't matter 'cause we gonna hurt you 'till you can't feel no more,and nobody will see it either,"  Ronald " The Rabid" Griswold was the meanest, roughest kid here at Lockdale Middle School.  Eighth grade lunch had just ended, and everyone was sitting in 6th period right now, so I was missing Algebra 1( not that I minded.)  So I was stuck with my head lodged into a trash can and I just loved it. 

How could I not?  This same thing had happened every day since 5th grade, when I moved here.  Just because I was smart and every one of my teacher's pets, they decided I should be the center of all their threats.  I begged my mom to homeschool me, transfer me, anything to leave this wasteland of a school.  Noone here cares and the teachers just give you homework no matter how much I sweettalked them. 

Finally, school ended and I could go home and not have to explain why I had mac and cheese in my hair.  I sprinted all the way.  Not even thinking about the bus.  When I got home, I jumped onto my bed and I sobbed. A lot.  "Why me, I thought I was smart and nice and a good girl.  I wish the whole world would just die- it would make my life a heck of a lot easier."

"Oh shut your pie hole, you little brat," says my evil stepmom, the evil Kendra. "I have it way worse, I have to take you to the bus, then clean, shop, and make dinner that takes like forever!

" Especially her" I add softly under my breath
