Ch.81 - Never Again

"'Ya bringin' 'ya gun?" asked GD as he surveryed the club from the outside


It was two in the morning but sleep doesn't seem to exist in the underground world. To them, it's the perfect time for business. The streets are empty, chilly and dark. The moon was at it's fullest and thus gave them light to see the surroundings.


"No," TOP answered.


He was staring at his cellphone for the hundredth time that day. Contemplating wether he should open it and read whatever text messages he received or not.


GD gave him a stare. "Ya should."


"It is not necessary."


"Yeah it is, if 'ya wanna stay alive."


He sighed loudly and gave up. He placed his phone inside his jacket pocket. He massaged his forehead. He only had three hours of sleep for the past four days, resulting a terrible headache.


"I'm not a killer GD," TOP stated coldly


"Fine, but the rule still stands here even if 'ya hafv or 'ya don't hafv a gun. 'Ya kill them or thy kill 'ya brotha'," said GD and threw his cigarette away. "'Ya sure 'ya wanna do this?"


"Do I have a choice?" asked TOP with a deadly tone and gave GD a glare


"'Ya don't," GD smirked "'Ya don't haf'ta gimme that look. Right now, I'm 'ya only friend."


TOP didn't say anything back. Right now he doesn't have a choice. He can only trust GD in this situation and he detested the idea of it.


"Here, 'ya take it," GD handed him a pistol "It's a semi-automatic. 'Ya point the gun and 'ya pull the trigge'. It's easy."


It was a black 9x19mm, K100, semi-automatic pistol. One pull, one shot. Easy.


"If 'ya wanna stay alive, 'ya definitely haf'ta take it," GD explained when TOP didn't take the pistol from his hand "It's for protection."


TOP sighed. He took the gun and stared at it for a while. It was heavy, made of pure metal. He held it in his hand, it was perfectly made for his strong grip.


Guns were originally made for protection and not killing. But this small machine causes a massive increase in crimes, obviously not being used for it's original purpose. It was a tool used for commiting a crime. And those who pulled the trigger, even for protection, the blood of their victims will forever be in their hands. 


It was a devil tool.


"'Ya like it?"


Man invented such tool. And this tool creates monsters.


"No," he answered "It disgusts me," he added before stepping out of the car.

***Maggie's POV



"Bakla, papasok ba si Sam ngayon?" tanong ng kapatid kong si China habang nananalamin sa locker nya.


"Oo," sagot ko habang hinahanap sya mula sa mga dumadaang estudyante sa hallway


Wala parin sya. Tinignan ko ulit ang cellphone ko. Walang text.


"Bakit ang tagal nya?" tanong ni China at isinara ang locker nya.


"Di ko alam, kanina ko pa sya tinetext eh," sabi ko.


"Ang tagal naman ni Sammy," >3< sabi ni Michie habang nakaupo na sa sahig at nakasandal sa lockers


Nakita ko si Audrey na papalapit. Ang porma talaga nya kahit kailan. Palagi tuloy syang apple of the eye dito sa campus.


"Wala pa sya?" tanong nya


"Wala pa.." *3* sagot ni Michie saka tumayo


"Malapit nang mag-start ang class. Kailan pa sya naging si Ms. Tardy?" tanong ni Audrey habang nakatingin sa relo nya


"Wow! Ang ganda ng relo mo Audz ah," puri ni China


"Oh yes, bigay ni kuya from NY," sagot ni Audrey


"Waah! Oo nga! Ang daming diamonds, totoo bang diamonds ang mga yan Audrey?" tanong ni Michie


"Of course! Kailan ba ako nag-suot ng fake?" Audrey -___^
