Chapter 14 - Goodbye

I heard light strumming on a guitar as I slowly walked into the bus "hey" I smiled seeing Corey strumming his guitar while humming an acoustic version of snuff

I slowly sat beside him and leaned my head back closing my eyes "you ok?" he said still strumming the guitar "I don't know how I feel" I whispered "been there done that" he said, he stopped playing making me look at him "where's that big mouthed badass but innocent girl I met backstage at that concert?" he asked "she's here, just hidden beneath a bunch of bullshit" I said

He slowly smiled and tapped my shoulder "lets clear all that bullshit, you wanna sing with me?" He asked, I slowly smiled and nodded, he strummed the start of start of snuff then sand

"bury all your secrets in my skin"

"And come away with innocence that leaves me with my sins"

"The air around me still feels like a cage and love is just a camouflage of what resembles rageeeee again"

"So if you love me let me go and run away before I know, my heart is just too dark to care"

I slowly looked down and listened to him singing the rest

"So break yourself against my stones, and spit your pity in my soul, you never needed any help you sold me out to save yourself and I won't listen to you shame you ran away you're all the same, angel's lie to keep control oh my love was punished long ago If you still care don't ever let me know, if you still care don't ever let me know!" He sang and I began to cry, he finished the song before hugging me

"Corey" I whispered "I need to go home" I whispered, he looked at me for a moment before nodding "I'll help you" he said, I began crying more and he held me tightly "shhh it's ok, you know we love you no matter what and will always be here for you" he said, I wiped my eyes and slowly nodded.

I threw my clothes into my bag and fixed my hair pulling it into a loose bun, I sighed loudly zipping it up and pulling it into the seating area where Corey was sitting "I have a flight booked and a car ride that will take you straight to your door" he said handing me my passport "boh has you tickets for your plane" he said, I bit my lip and sighed again

"That's the girl I've been looking for" he smiled then I realised I was wearing exsacally what I was wearing when I met them, I laughed and hugged him "thank you corey" I whispered kissing his cheek "honestly I'm gonna miss you" he said "I'm gonna miss you too, I'm gonna miss everyone" I said still hugging him, he breathed out loudly and we released each other

"Love you" I said "hate you" he said before laughing at my shocked face, he grabbed me and hugged me again "love you" he said, I smiled and kissed his cheek before grabbing my bag, he walked with me outside but then I seen the others "Lilly what you doing?" Sid asked, I put my bag in the back seat and turned to look at the others "I'm leaving" I said holding back the tears, I was going to be strong

Their faces dropped and Shannon and coco ran over hugging me "please don't" they said "I'm going" I said pulling away from them "Lilly please let's just talk about this" Sid said grabbing my hand, I pulled away and walked over to the boys before hugging them all individually before stopping at Chris "goodbye Lilly" he whispered, I kissed his cheek like the others and finally got to Sid

He wrapped his arms around me and leaned his head down on my shoulder, I stroked my hand down his back and took a deep breath of his scent "don't go" his voice muffled by my top "I have to for myself" I whispered, I slowly released him and pressed my lips to his before grabbing the girl and hugging them

Then I walked to the car and got inside, my legs rubbed against the leather seats and the car smelt so fresh, I didn't look back I couldn't let myself do that, the car started and moved away, I put my head in my hands and cried while Boh looked at me but didn't say a word, when I got to the airport, Boh handed me my tickets and walked me as close to the security section as he could, he handed me my bag and smiled "goodbye lilly" he said, I smiled and hugged him "thanks Boh for everything" I said before walking away waving as I walked, I put my stuff down and took off any metal then walked through the scanner

I was clear and grabbed my stuff before walking over to a seat and fixed my stuff before walking through to the shops and decided a Starbucks coffee was needed and there I stayed till my flight.

I landed in England and the cool air hit me like a ton of bricks, I walked outside just to see my parents and sister run to me and hug me "how did you know I was home?" I asked amazed by their welcome "A slipknot guy called us" Louise smiled "oh" I said before hugging them back

"We are so happy you're home" dad said kissing my cheek, I began to cry and they laughed "shut it" I laughed still crying.
