Chapter 23(:
Our Own Purple Sky<3
[A Greyson Chance /Love\ Story]
A/N: Sorry for all the confusion in the last chapter. It just occurred to me that italics don't work on this website. EW. Anyway, The story's almost done! Actually, this is gonna be the last chapter, CURSE MY UNIMAGINATIVE MIND! I'm working on a new one to try and get rid on my writer's block called The Quiet One. Yes, it's a Greyson story, no, I don't know if it'll be any good. But read it if you'd like, even message me prompts if you have any, one-shots or not.
This is gonna be kind of a long A/N, but I'd advise you to read it, there's a lot of important information in here. As you can probably see, my writing style has changed and awful lot. In doing so, I think I've gained a little skill, more or less. I'm just saying that this story does not have a happy ending, but I'm thinking of doing a sequel one-shot which WILL have a happy ending. If I do, the title will be Whispers of You. Leave your comments on whether I should, thanks for reading and not loosing hope in this story! (:
Regards,
Katie.

Recap: An image flashed before his eyes. It was Audrea being choked by Alli. Coughing for air. This couldn't be true, could it? It can't be! Tears filled his eyes as he choked out, "NO!"
----------
Audrea sat in the hospital waiting room with Jamie close by. Cody was in the corner trying to calm Alli down, who was sobbing hysterically. No one knew what was going on, everything fell apart so quickly. Just a year ago Greyson and Audrea became a couple, Greyson sang Paparazzi, and everything was fine.
Now Greyson was unconscious in a hospital bed by the doing of Alli Simpson.
"I don't think I could ever forgive her, Jamie. I don't think I can ever talk to her or anything ever again," Audrea said through gritted teeth. "I don't blame you. She tried to kill you.. I'm about just as mad as you are," Jamie answered, sending a glare in Alli's direction.
"I don't understand Alli. I don't understand why you would do that," Cody said, shaking his head at his sister while pressing an ice pack on her neck. "Were you really that jealous?"
"She got all his love. I got none. She got everything I wanted. I know it was wrong to want to poison her but I couldn't help it. The thought made me feel.. So alive." Alli answered, staring off in the distance. "You're psycho," Cody said, half-heartedly joking.
Audrea said to Jamie, "What do you think he's thinking? Greyson, that is. I mean, he's still breathing. He's still alive in his mental state. I'm kind of curious."
Jamie, bewildered at the question, answered, "I don't know."
----------
Greyson lunged at the projection. He fell to the ground and frustrated tears fell from his eyes. "That's not real! Tell me it's not real!" Greyson shouted. Sahmi answered: It is not real. It is taunting you to make you want to leave, permanently.
Greyson pulled out the pill then stuffed it back in his pocket. Sahmi continued: It will keep happening over and over again, showing you your fears before your eyes. In your dreams. Everywhere you go. It wants you to leave.
Greyson stared off into the distance. "I have to stay for Audrea. I don't think I'd be able to leave."
He slumped back against the willow. Another screen came up. Greyson didn't want to look, yet he felt like he had to. It was his family this time. They were.. Were.. They were DYING?! Oh no, no, no, no. This can't be happening. Things were just getting worse and this was only the second projection.
He tried to pull his gaze away but he couldn't.
"Greyson! Greyson! Help us! Please!"
Shouts were placed all over the place until he could barely hear over his own sobs. The projection finally disappeared but the memory will stay with him forever.
"Why do they do this? Why do they torture me?"
Another screen came up. It was of Audrea. She was smiling at him. Her hair was gently blowing in the breeze, her eyes shining. Greyson thought they were giving him a happy one. Until she started to sink into the ground.
She disappeared inch by inch, knee deep in 5 seconds flat. Her face faltered, worry covered it. She shouted to Greyson for help, voice dripping with desperation.
Greyson helplessly watched until she was sunk up to her neck. She sucked in a breath and closed her mouth. Up to her nose, now. She held up her arm, he fingers curling at the loss of air. She was sunk up to her elbow. When the ground swallowed up the last part of her fingertips, Greyson was falling apart.
