When Friendship Coincides With Love - Chapter 5

It is pitching dark but my eyes are wide open.

I squeeze my eyes then opened them again.

This time it's pure white.

"Why are you here?"

Woah (O.O) may biglang nagsalitang babae kung saan. Tumingin ako sa paligid but still I see nothing but white.

"Are you REAL? Are you here to save me?"

That voice again. Her voice maybe is as sweet as a cute girl but IT'S CREEPY! I glanced at my left and also at my right.

NOONE!

After a while wala na ulit akong narinig na boses. "Sino ka? Show yourself!" I tried to ask and I waited but no one came.

"It is you. My REAL. *giggles*"

My Real?! Who is she calling? Now she's laughing. Damn. Where the heck am I?!

I close my eyes and run as fast as I could. I ran and ran but this space seems endless. I got tired of running so I sat down with eyes still closed.

"Huwag ka nang umiyak. I'm just here. Lagi akong nasa tabi mo. Lagi kitang babantayan."

I felt a hand touching my head. Gusto kong dumilat pero parang natatakot ako. Isa ba itong bangungot? Kung isa itong panaginip, gusto ko na magising!

Pinilit kong gumising pero walang nangyayari. I murmured "Panaginip lang ito, panaginip lang ito." And then she suddenly hugged me. I somehow felt warm so maybe she isn't a ghost.

"MAHAL KITA, REAL" she tightens her grip on me pagkatapos niyang banggiting mahal niya daw si Real. At pagkatapos noon...

I opened my eyes for the third time and for an instance I think I saw an image of a girl but it was blurry. I reached my glasses on the desk beside my bed. But when I fully regained consciousness, I only saw the inside of my room. No girl.

"Panaginip nga lang." I inhaled and exhaled. "Pero parang totoo. Creepy but somehow parang dama ko parin ang yakap niya." Bigla akong kinilabutan sa sinabi ko.

It was a just a dream.

Naalala ko yung huli niyang sinabi"I LOVE YOU, REAL". Sino ba si Real?

Reeve's my name, not Real. Grrr! I shouldn't think about it. Erase erase erase. . . .

"I hope I won't dream something like that again."
