Living with the leafies (not updated anymore)

We got a new mission. We had to help bridge-builder dude get to the Land of Waves-HAWAI!!!!!!!!!!!-because he was going to build a bridge there.

After about a day of walking I noticed that we were not headed in the direction of Hawai.

Naruto told me that we weren't going to Hawai. YOU LIED TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a mental breakdown. After that we kept walking.

A treebranch slapped Sasuke in the face and he set in fire. Pyro much Uchiah?

Then things got really weird. These creepy looking people with masks and claws started trying to kill us. Naruto stabbed himself to get rid of the poison to try and impress Sakura and then went ballistic when Kakashi told him that he'd die if he lost anymore blood-I had to beat him unconcious with my Pointy Stick of Pointyness before Kakashi could heal him.

Then things started to get weird. Bunnies that were the wrong color, puddles that showed up out of nowhere, physco stalker trees, and that was just the begining. out of thin air this HUGE SWORD swung down and nearly killed Kakashi.

Who was wielding the sword? Zabuza. How do i know? Some of the remaining Seven Swordsmen of the Mist would sometimes drop by to visit Sharkie so i knew Zabuza.

Is Haku here? I asked him.

Zabuza attacked Kakashi and the two of them went at it.

Haku stared at me with sad brown eyes. We'd spent time together when Zabuza had come to visit. He and Sharkie were close friends. I smirked as I remember my near heart-attack when I'd firt met Zabuza. dude he'd been covered in blood at the time.

I didn't want to hurt him, but I knew that I might have to. I apologized mentally to him for it so that no one else would hear.

I understand. Haku thought in response.

Haku didn't like to fight. But he would if he had to. The first time we met he asked me what it was in this world that I wanted to protect. I didn't have an answer at the time. The next time we met I told him that I wanted to protect my friends, at that time, it had just been the Akatsuki, but it had eventually expanded to Garaa, Konkura, Temari, and after some reluctance Zaku and the other Sound kids that Orochimaru had brought over more than once. Haku was my friend. I had few friends, few people mattered to me, but i'd willingly give my life for those few people.

Haku had told me his story, about his parents, and the events that had led to him meeting Zabuza, and all that Zabuza had done for him. He'd suffered from the beleif that he was unescasarry. i'd told him that I needed him. He was my buddy. We'd promised each other that same day that buddies don't leave thier buddies behind. I didn't want to fight him.

This problem has an easy solution right? fight Zabuza instead. Wrong. Haku would never forgive me if I hurt Zabuza.

The fights started and Kakahi went against Zabuza. Sakura just stood in front of the bridgemaker cluthcing a kunai knife like it was a teddy bear, and Naruto, Sasuke and me were facing Haku.

Naruto started talking but I didn't hear any of it. I think i went deaf.

"This bridge is where our dreams are tied together. the place were we fight. Me, for my dreams, you for your dreams. Please don't resent me." Haku said to Naruto. He'd given Naruto a chance to stay at peace and not fight, but Naruto wouldn't listen. I was torn. On the one hand I wanted to help my team, on the other hand I didn't think I could bring myself to hurt Haku.

I envy you right now. I told Haku.

Your dream was to protect Zabuza, to work for him, to fight for him, your dream was to see his come true. You have someone to fight for. I got nothing.

You wouldn't give your life for the Akatsuki?
