Chapter 3: Somebody To Hold Close

Hi guy writers block over :D so I am going to update this story-My dad is Klaus Mikaelson- This is my life now as a Gilbert and maybe more today xx.

Emily’s POV

My eyes were heavy but soon enough I awoke with a large gasping breath for air as the blinding light above me started stinging.

Opening my eyes I stared at my skin, speaking of which was starting to boil.

I used vamp speed to move away from the sun and into the dark shadows that the sun had yet to reach.

Events of last night were suddenly visible and inside of my head.

~Flashback~

Stefan’s POV

I dragged Emily through the forest, her body unchonious and limp as her breathing increased I knew she was bound to awake any minute.

I stopped dead in my tracks after hearing a loud growl from behind me.

Turning around I saw a angry wolf, or a giant dog.

He snarled at me.

“Go away!” I yelled.

Preparing to pounce I dropped Emily and vamp-ran.

Wolf’s POV (What?)

I transformed into my normal form before grabbing my clothes that I had left hanging on a tree branch earlier so I wouldn’t be walking around naked.

I ran a hand down the beautiful blondes face, she was freezing.

I could bring her with me, but it could put her in more danger.

I decided to take off my jacket and leave.

Not Looking back I headed back to my pack, as their alfa I should be there to protect them.

~Present~

Emily looked around her shoulders where a jacket was laying lightly on top of them.

She growled and stood up, not feeling dizzy anymore she marched over to a tree, grabbed a branch and snapped it.

Se used the pointy end to defend herself as she ran through the forest in the converse shoes.

Kol’s POV

I awoke to the sound of bickering, It was Klaus, Rebekah and Marcel “What’s going on?” I demanded realising we were still driving.

“You missed the turn!” Rebekah yelled at Klaus.

“Not I didn’t” Klaus retorted.

“Yes, you did! Go back!” Rebekah hissed.

“What is going on!” I yelled above my elder brother and younger sister.

They turned to me “Eyes on the road Niklaus!” I ordered “Turn left!” I shouted.

Klaus swerved the car to the left where a young girl ran across the road.

She had blonde hair and deep green eyes from what I could see.

“Emily! Stop!!!” I yelled as Klaus stopped the car just in time before it hit her.

I jumped out of the car and ran to the young teenager who had her hand clutching her heart as I could hear it pumping loudly.

“Emily?” I said softly cupping her face “It’s me Kol”

She stared at me confused “Kol?”

“Yes love” I replied.

Tears bubbled in her eyes “Kol!” She smiled and wrapped her arms around me.

I wrapped mine back and embraced her softly.
